Is there any info about they making episodes in 2D animation again?

I mean, I didn't hate the 3D in episode 51, but it looked so banal for me that It just killed all of my interest in the series so I didn't even watch Episode 52 yet and I'm not sure if I will, it was fun to watch the animation in the first 50 eps even though it was mid for 90% of the time.

I hope it doesn't take much time for it, I don't expect the animation to improve when they make the episodes in 2D again, so when it returns I at least want Yamamuro to let the different animators draw in their respective art styles, it wasn't very interesting to see the same Yamamuro base art style in every episode.

So yeah this ep is just more fighting ozotto clones. I assume everyone wins their solo battle but it could be they get absorbed to raise the stakes.

I wonder who takes the ultimate w, two vegettos with trunks standing awkwardly.

I was searching on YouTube and was just 3D clips, though those were commercials, but then I stop to watch and oh geez, these were actual episodes! No wonder some people lost interest on it, but whatever I still comment about it:

Ep. 51

- This 3D uses Budokai 3 models so yeah feels like a PS2 game

- Don't know if they resources are limited now, but the fights were not impressive at all

- So it seems Ozotto is like a god/planet eater? Also he gains the abillity of those he eats and also could shape like them? Cool.

Ep. 52

- I was starting to say how Ozotto managed to 'eat' Baby if he was fighting Goku, Vegeta and Trunks from Superverse, but then I saw Xeno Goku and was like "Ah, so that's it" lol

- If he's a God eater or whatever should he go for Beerus or other GoDs already?

- Gosh those Limit Breaker SSJ4 auras are ugly even in 3D!

- SSJ4 Goku repeating his same line when he was about to fight Baby in GT just gave me chills!

- Also Vegeta just attacked the same way Gohan did on him in GT? lol

- So Ozotto has split forms in all the universes to eat people/planet, huh? Also It's a obvious trap and villain trope to lure the good guys to his place.

Ep. 53

- So basically Ozotto invites them to a Babidi game, interesting I guess.

- For a minute I though Vegeta was using MUI, but then another look on his pupils I was certain that was actually SSJBE.

- So Gohan is still conscious inside Ozotto? I wonder what that will lead to...

I'm going to venture an answer to why this...

Well, even though these 2D episodes have just 5 minutes or less of actual animation, it still requires resources from an animation team to produce it. Also seeing that Daima is going to be a thing in late this year, they probably are saving all resources for its episodes.

I guess people have lost interest for this series now that is in 3D.

Had to really struggle to find this thread.

So I guess it's over no more content till divers comes out probably.

The anime was so much less coherent and complete than the anime. It's not like super where it's a little personal preference based. This just is close as we can get to saying something is objectively worse than another version.

Saying it was just an advert for the game isn't even a jan, it's literally to only way to justify it's existence in it's current form.

I wonder if they will do the same thing when super divers comes out.

Anyway the manga has two whole chapters left, to complete the story, with this it really felt like they just didn't want to bother advertising something that's not gonna exist soon so rushed it more.

It is sad Heroes ends in less than 2 months, more content is generally good even if it's bad.

I wonder if they will ever animate the earlier arcs.

A complete kai manga style recut would be what I'd like now the story is complete.

I've been watching the promo anime since the start and yeah, boss quality and arc wise it's

Hearts > Goku Black >> Fu >> Cumber >> Demigra (disappointed in his performance) >>>> Ozotto (LAME unfortunately, and annoying character + painful CGI)

with this it really felt like they just didn't want to bother advertising something that's not gonna exist soon so rushed it more.

Technically SDBH will be still playable inside of Super Divers, it just won't be getting any more new cards. But there's still profit to be made because I think even if you go to the new machines to play the SDBH mode, you need to throw in a coin or two (it's an arcade after all )

I thought the series was fine for what it was but that last arc but just crap. Even had it been animated like the others it would have still been the worst arc. I'm not sure how I'd rank the arcs but I'll give it a go.

Finally found some time to catch up on the latest episodes and drop a few comments here in this thread:

Ep. 54

- I though Gohan would go Beast on Ozotto, but they might be saving this form a future arc or something

- Cannot imagine something cooler than Kaioken Blue Vegetto using his sword technique to finish an enemy

Ep. 55

- Limit Breaker SSJ4 is better designed in 3D than 2D, I mean I like more the red hair (similar to SSJ4 Gogeta) with white spots, than the full pink one

- I've probably said that before, but Hearts is one of the best designs to come from SDBH

- This series sure knows how to produce hype, ending with MUI Goku confronting Ozotto

- Goku finishing him was amazing, also Aios has a new form? It kinda reminds me of Merged Zamasu because the halo thing in her back.
