Hm. Maybe this means that I should beat the first one now. I'm in Pilaf's castle, I think... I dunno. "Attack of the Saiyans" is a lot more fun so I'll just keep playing that for awhile.

Please post actual links to things, folks! I'm on GoNintendo right now (looked at the URL to the image) and I'm not seeing anything about this.

We should all know by now that sites like Daizenshuu EX and Kanzentai source things, which is why people trust us.

Thanks!

LATER EDIT: Finally found it

Looks like this is coming out on February 11th, 2010. It says you clan use both the DS touch pen and the actual buttons to play, whichever you prefer.

That's an improvement I was hoping for, Herms. I found one of the most annoying things about the original game was the typical blight for DS and Wii games; using those "innovative controls" when it'd actually be better to use the traditional d-pad/face button control method.

Oh my, if this becomes a trilogy, I'd be up for grabbing a Piccolo Daimaô arc game!!

Hmm... I wonder if they plan to get to Karin Tower. I see Violet, and I think she showed up around then, but no Tao...

Violet only showed up at RR Headquarters after Tao Pai Pai's defeat (in the manga at least). You might be thinking of Colonel Yellow, the tiger guy Goku defeated at Karin Tower.

I never finished the first game because I couldn't find a way out of one of the mazes. TT_TT
Which is a shame because this seems like such a great series.

The screens do look amazing. :3
On hiatus.

Despite the issues the first game had, I'm glad they're going ahead with the sequel, the presentation of the first game was fantastic, and it's always great to play some non Z material.

This looks pretty good. I never played the original (except for about 2 minutes on the Nintendo Channel), so I'm looking forward to this!

Yep, that's going to be the game included.

Nope, only Goku. Bulma was a support character in some levels.

Besides, nobody but Goku does anything in the Red Ribbon arc anyway.

I wonder if they'll change the game to Dragon Power for nostalgic reasons in a (likely) U.S. release... long stretch, but it would be cool.

I hated playing Dragon Power so much.

One interesting thing to note about Dragon Power though is that it does not contain the entire game. In the Japanese version, once you beat it, you can make a wish to take you to the moon where you raid the moon base of the boss rabbit. For some reason you fight multiple versions of Kuririn up there too. It's pretty much impossible to beat this, even if you're playing perfectly, so instead you need to make the wish of starting over with complete full health and then take on the moon base upon your second turn of beating this portion of the game (since you will theoretically have more health this time around to begin this portion of the journey). It is insane and I hate myself for knowing this.
