No. It's more like that time Recoome fought Recoome. Get your facts straight, n00b!ThunderPX wrote:Is that like the time Cell beat Cell?Well, Kai is running at twice the pace of Kai at the moment.

Are you trying to steal my thunder?Treklin wrote:Freeza Saga was around 50 episodes (1-54) (54 episodes) episode 107 in dbz / 2 = 54
Cell Saga would be also around 50 episodes (55-99) (45 episodes) episode 199 in dbz / 2 = 99
Majin Buu Saga will be also around 50 episodes (100-145) (46 episodes) episode 291 in dbz / 2 = 145
Really? 150-ish? The Jinzouningen arc takes up about half as many volumes as the Saiyan and Freeza arc put together. So... going with the idea that the Saiyan/Freeza arcs make 54 episodes, the Jinzouningen arc should be closer to 30 episodes. The Boo arc has just about as many volumes as the Jinzouningen arc so that's another 30-ish episodes.Hujio wrote:Are you trying to steal my thunder?Treklin wrote:Freeza Saga was around 50 episodes (1-54) (54 episodes) episode 107 in dbz / 2 = 54

I'm not sure I agree with 140+ episodes, but I suppose it's possible. I'll stick with around 125 episodes, but that's just me.
i have one more idea:Treklin wrote:I think Kai finish between episodes 140-150 ...
if they cut 50% off of dbz so it would be end at episode 145 or so ...
the cell saga ends in dbz with episode 199 so 50% cut off means in dbk episode 98/99 ...!!!
Freeza Saga was around 50 episodes (1-54) (54 episodes) episode 107 in dbz / 2 = 54
Cell Saga would be also around 50 episodes (55-99) (45 episodes) episode 199 in dbz / 2 = 99
Majin Buu Saga will be also around 50 episodes (100-145) (46 episodes) episode 291 in dbz / 2 = 145
my conclusion:
kai finishing at 145 episodes ...
happinets update with the 99 episodes was the announcement in which episode the cell saga ends and not in which
episode kai end...
I know you're coming up with all these great calculations that are drawn out and look like some in-depth math problem, but really, you're just splitting the series in half and calling it a day. I really don't think they're going to approach 150 episodes. Just looking at the Artificial Humans arc, there's no way they're going to make that almost 50 episodes long. In Z it was ~70 episodes, so even if you half that it's only 35 episodes. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though, because so far we're all just speculating.Treklin wrote:*snipped text*
Why wouldn't they skip it?DbzFanboy wrote:I also doubt they will skip over garlic junior, they will most likely give us a very fast paced version of it.
For the record, but not that it is anything really definitive, they did cut the Garlic Jr. arc out of the TV animation comics. And so far the two releases seem to mirror each other pretty well. So I don't think it's out of the question that they'd cut the arc. In fact, I personally would be shocked if they left it in.Herms wrote:Why wouldn't they skip it?DbzFanboy wrote:I also doubt they will skip over garlic junior, they will most likely give us a very fast paced version of it.
I don't believe anyone ever said they'd try and fit the Buu arc into 25 episodes. That'd be ridiculous! My personal guess was it'd be somewhere around 40-45 episodes.DbzFanboy wrote:I say Kai's run will end with 150 eps more or less. The buu arc is just too long to cut down to fit into 25 eps.
