Ah, well that explains why I forgot about that one. It's a Battle Power.

That's annoyed me for ages, and I know a few others here have noticed over the years. I even tried to have Jake track down those issues of Weekly Jump for me while he was in Japan, but it was to no avail. Luckily
Peking Duck finally cleared that mystery up for us.

This is from
Julian's translation: "Sooner or later, Kakarrot, I WILL show you defeat... Hmph!"
Incredibly unfortunate, I thought he would have Vegeta say something appraising instead of being bitter at the end. I guess Toriyama truly dislikes Vegeta.
Yeah, I don't see how just because Vegeta admits finally that Goku is better than him and has a gift, being a genius fighter and all, means he can't still strive to be better than him at
some point. It's a little nod saying, the rivalry will never truly end. We can see that in the jump special, Vegeta is obviously not all about killing Goku in battle so much as just trying to out-do him in every possible scenario.

I like what their rivalry evolves into in the Jump Special, it was fun to watch. I'm interested to see how Goku and Vegeta's post-Buu rivalry plays out in BOG.
On hiatus.

So Bulma went from
smokin' hot babe to just hot babe when they redesigned the Kazenban chapter 5 art.
What Goku and Vegeta have is a sibling rivalry; Vegeta will always be bitter to his younger brother because he got all the affection when he was young.
That time your teacher asked you to draw Cell in biology class.
This man is my hero:
To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.

It's Jhees who says Vegeta's BP is 20,000/30,000, rather than Vegeta himself. /nitpick
Anyway, in the tankoubon when Tenshinhan first appears, the furigana in his name is originally in hiragana, then it switches to katakana, which becomes the standard way it's written from then on. In the kanzenban it's changed to be in katakana from the start.
