Not to mention, did the guy not even bother looking at still images of Majin Boo from several angles to not only see how the antenna was shapped but also see how the antenna's not stemming from the front but rather on top of his head?
Then again..most crappy cosplayers seem to wing it and don't even bother to pay attention to detail. >_>
The way he designed the face paint around his eyes makes him look more like Gaara of Naruto. :s

Hey ya you have a point about the eye thing. I also agree that a lot of people that cosplay just "wing it". I know many people just do a quick costume like a week before a con. If you want accuracy, use reference pics and stuff. I can't tell you how terrible it looks when a see a person cosplaying Naruto with a jacket and pants that aren't even the same shade of orange. Trust me, they think it's not that important, but it really stands out and ends up making the costume just look cheap. :/
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Maybe he did, and did it as a joke. I wonder if he got arrested for indecent exposure.Jerseymilk wrote:You know I always think it's funny whenever I see that pic and always have the same question in my mind. How could that guy, when he was making the costume not realize what that antenna resembled? >>

On behalf of everyone though, sorry for stealing the thunder away from your topic, JAKEMAN.

Good luck on your costume; the mask part is looking pretty cool, and I'd be curious to see the whole thing.

This Videl I thought looked ok:DB_Fan wrote:This picture is the proof that Cosplay doesn't work with Dragon Ball characters such as Saiyans, Namekians or any kind of monster. It only works with characters such as #17, #18, Bulma, Videl, Lunch or Yamcha, but even with those, I've seen some really disturbing pictures.JAKEMAN wrote: Also there have been other Majin Buu cosplayers
Some Good
And some which should have never been made

I always thought it'd be classier to just have something referencing the series, like how HHGG was for years (then the movie ruined it). I'd have a shirt or something that said 'don't for get your towel' or I'd tell someone 'don't panic' and we'd have a little laugh or a wry smile.
I thought the coolest thing would be to wear Potara earrings, or say "Ora! I'm Jake."
But, showing up in full Buu-dress: also very impressive.
-edit-
Neat side-note: the "Ora Jake" part was written without me know your name was jake
it's a sign!

I think I'd settle for sporting some wristbands and a kame sennin symbol somewhere on my shirt or hat.desirecampbell wrote:I always thought it'd be classier to just have something referencing the series, like how HHGG was for years (then the movie ruined it). I don't think it's that bad. He get's the holes in the arm, a nice pink, abd the 'tentle' doesn't look like a cock - so kudous to him.
It does like damn uncomfortable, though.
