Hmm, I've been wondering, maybe the one that has Bulma as its image is actually a compilation of the 6 calendars of the faces (Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, and Kame-sennin) plus a bonus. Not a separate character...but that's just my thought.

I just got my calenders today (yes, you read right, plural.) I ordered the deluxe one with the "bonus art", and it turns out I unknowingly purchased all of the DBZ calendars, for a hefty $75 Canadian.

I'm not dissapointed though; the calenders are a bit thinner than I thought, but the art work is new and snazzy looking. The "bonus" they spoke of is supplemental calender pages made with sparkly reflective paper, for December 2006 and January 2008 (with Bulma and Shenlong respectively)

I'm happy with my purchase, though some of these peices could've used better poses and some actual backgrounds. Mostly everyone is perpetually scowling, with the exception of Cell arc Super Vegeta, who's...crying.

(Damn what a cry baby...)

Does it make me a bad fan to say these calanders are pointless. New Games and toys are fine to me but a calander is a bit excessive imo..

I see what you're saying. I'm only getting them for the beautiful art. A true Dragonball collection contains Manga, Anime (dvd/vhs) and Video Games IMO. Sure, there's toys, but should I start collection those, it'll only happen after I have every DVD and Manga. As for other things, like cards/posters/cels etc., there are just WAY to many out there and I don't think I'll ever start collecting those..only my opinion

Trunks look kind of ugly in the image maybe its because that they darkened parts of his face.

Another Mr.Piccolo bitching warning
To be quite honest, I was never a fan of the new-new animations for DragonBall. My favorite has to be the episodes when the spirit bomb is used on Chibi Buu and the animation for Path to Power, but I can't stand for the animation used for the DragonBox covers, Budokai 3 intro, and these calanders. The characters look too strained, as if the animations are trying to catch up with these times. I thought the older animations were just fine but I guess things must change. Time is cruel...

No, each calender is different. The six calenders each contain 12 pages (months) for the character on the cover. They're all newly drawn, but some of the poses and compositions look like they've been borrowed from scenes in the series. (For example, there is one page of Cell arc Vegeta with a tear in his eye, posed like Majin Vegeta before he blew himself up.)

And before anyone asks, the Kame-sen'nin calender doesn't include any Pafu-Pafu girls.

And don't be fooled by the Trunks calender; the art inside looks much better than the cover page.
