Care to explain, or is not worth going into?
'Spam bots' are programs that automatically post 'spam' into forums. It's not a person, it's not even Dr. Wheelo, it's just some code.

Sorry for not making myself clear there, I know what a Spambot is, I just didn't get,

I know it has something to do with Britney Spears having something in common with Dragonball,

So Panties, don't get the Marron one, don't get the Bulma being a success dating a dirtbag....

(Britney dated a looser?)

Meh forget it, I just don't take an interest in celebrities. Sorry but I just couldn't give a shit and I don't watch shows like ''MTV News'' or read them Celebrity magazines. So I really couldn't tell you anything

(Is that a bad thing)

Namek this is your fault! Your the one that got me all confused and it's took me up to now to catch up!

I assure you, Vegeta's line there was meant strictly in the most literal sense possible.

Which doesn't make it any less funny

Please, people... it's bad enough when you respond in the actual spam threads... please don't talk nonsense in the thread asking you not to do so.

Is there any way to keep the spambots from registering?

Ooo, touché.

And I would think not. Unless you filtered the word "wow!" into "I am a spambot."

Either that, or Mike would have to do something with the entire board.

Holy Jesus tap dancing Christ on a cream cracker...

I just checked my E-mail account, and found 75 instances of spam.

And there was me thinking I was popular. :|

Do you think certain words "attract" spambots? There has been quite a few posts in the "New Section Preview" section and the description reads:
Help us bug-test our new sections before they go live! Check out the awesomeness that is our dedicated hard work, long before the regular site visitors get to see it all!
It's a stupid observation, I know. It's probably just a coincidence..

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Check it out.

It's not that hard people. Britney Spears naked has very little to do with Dragon Ball.
It's just random junk posted by spambots, you're lucky though since the Narutofan site I'm on gets spam about insurance, drugs, and a whole lot of other crap!

They have on some sites a code that you have to enter during registrations. This is supposed to block spambots from registering and posting. (I believe I said this on the previous page but you guys didn't seem to notice).

Is there email verification for newly registered accounts? I can't remember.

By the very fact that you all are having this conversation, you're clearly not taking the hint.
