So when Gowasu is killed...is the God of Destruction in Universe 10 going to be killed aswell? Or will he know not because of Zamasu? Or will he die when Zamasu is killed?
After only just bringing up that the God of Destructions and Kai's are linked you'd think with all the Kai's apparently dying the God of Destruction would play some kind of part or would get mentioned or something.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
We'll have to give the series a chance to elaborate on it. Hakaishin and Kaioshin usually only meet once per millennium, as explained with the Old Kaioshin and Beerus incident. Gowasu isn't dead yet and there might be a twist where he's saved and the confrontation is stopping the event. Based on the summary, it can go a few directions. Even so, I don't think you can doubt Universe's 10 Hakaishin absence will be referenced if Zamasu is left standing with what he wants.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I do accept that breaks really help the series. But let's just not forget that there was also a break between episode 4 and 5. They had at least 14 days to improve episode 5 and yet they didn't.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
That's not a very fair comment. All signs point towards that episode not even being complete by the time 4 aired, let alone by the time it actually broadcast. You cannot improve what isn't even finished. Ken Otsuka's response to the poor animation mentioned a number of "circumstances" being the cause, which likely refers to the poor planning surrounding the series. Moreover, you can see changes to the animation between the preview at the end of 4 and the start of 5, so it's not like work just stalled. Don't forget that this stuff has to go off for colouring, voice work, and mixing, and also be delivered to the station on time for them to prepare it for broadcast. Episode 5 was a huge one-off before you reached the episodes that were clearly deliberately sacrificed in the Golden Freeza arc.TheRed259 wrote:I do accept that breaks really help the series. These breaks generally don't have much of an effect on the episodes that pop up right after said break. A smart production team will delegate staff where it's most effective and most needed. Rather than use the time on an unimportant episode simply because it's next, you use that time to polish the key episodes in the future. You can see this type of management in effect pretty plainly in episodes 56 and 57. It's highly likely that 57 was the focus, since staff from said episode also managed to pop up to help finish 56, too. It's unlikely that that would have been possible had 57 not been nearing completion around the same time. It would also explain why 56 seemed pretty rushed, all things considered.
The breaks help, it's just about taking note of where the time is being used.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
It just occurred to me. If Zamasu DOES succeed in killing Gowasu, I mean won't that cause some pretty huge imbalance in U10 or whatever?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Maybe, maybe not. We weren't told of the consequences of Future Kaioshin's death aside from Future Beerus being affected. How empty positions are rectified and their overall effect on the universes have yet to be revealed. It's probably safe to assume imbalance is already occurring in alternate future Universe 7, so maybe it's been addressed under our noses.dragonballhero wrote:It just occurred to me. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Whis will prevent this by turning back time.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Didn't Whis say he can't reverse time again for a while or is that just the manga?

Yeah I mean this drastically raises the stakes vs Black. One false step and there may be no coming back even with Whis there. Plus it seems to imply it there's some cosmic consequences to using it.ekrolo2 wrote:Another point for the mangaSandubadear wrote:Only in the manga.ekrolo2 wrote:Didn't Whis say he can't reverse time again for a while or is that just the manga?

It'll also make more sense for Black to get SSRose in the manga since Goku's little sparring match with Trunks all but confirms he'll be using SSGod (at least) to fight Black in their first bout.TheMikado wrote:Yeah I mean this drastically raises the stakes vs Black. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Somehow I get this feeling that Zamasu's wish for immortality or whatnot isnt exactly the way we see it, because of how Black reacted after Zamasu got stabbed, called him an idiot and attacked Trunks.
Considering how Black normally is, you know with how "utsukushii" type of chuunibyou the guy is he would have said "isnt it beautiful that my kin has an immortal body? you wont be able to do anything"

Ah! I forgot to mention... Once I've rewound time, I can't do it again for quite a while, so if you fail, the Earth can't be put back to normal anymore.

Only parts of the summoning of Super Shenron were bad. And I think you mean the manga was better drawn, not animated.FortuneSSJ wrote:Still in Champa arc, we had the terrible Goku vs Botamo (that like Herms said, the manga was better animated) and the disappointing summoning of Super Shenlong.HeroR wrote: We got the Beerus vs. Super Saiyan God Goku fight that had many great moments. Most of the stuff in the retellings were also half effort animation wise, since the animation overall went up as soon as the Champa Saga started.
Black following FT Trunks had much more animation than that and we still didn't have a worse fight than Goku vs Botamo since then.
I agree with Beerus vs. Super Saiyan God Goku part though, but let's not forget how terrible Base Goku vs Final Form Freeza fight was, for example too.
And you're trying to used the best of the Future Trunks Saga. What about the Super Saiyan 2 Goku vs. Zamasu fight? That wasn't the best animated.
And as I said, the retellings were half effort, which includes the Freeza vs. Goku fight. The overall animation improved the moment we left the retellings.
