Erm, I think you only need to make a quick thrust for the specials, I mean, just try it, there, nothing elaborate now is it? You still have a trusty analogue stick to do the moving about, and then buttons for your basic punching needs. It's not like you'll need to mimic everything.

You think FUNimation wanted to release Movie 13 earlier than expected so people would know who Tapion and Hildegarn are in this game?

That's not a problem if they count all the different forms, not at all.

Yeah, you could get to seven using just Son Goku. (Chibi, regular, Kaioken, SSJ 1, 2, 3 and 4)

Would this also mean we will be getting Chibi Kuririn?

I must admit when I saw the videos of them powering up it blew me away the way to energy sparks come form the characters. This game is going to be so cool :D

I'm liking how when the characters are battle damaged, you can see they're really battered, as opposed to just having damage and their face looking fatigued. Vegeta grabbing for his arm while hunched over is freakin' awesome. o_O

I also love how they show the characters can zip right behind the person and smash at them without the need for them to unleash an attack this time around. Now it'll definately be like the show.

The RPG elements sounds rather nifty. Kinda reminds me of the Legacy of Goku games. Hopefully they give us CG scenes, since they said it'd be in an RPG style. :P I'd love to see Budokai's story mode brought over to the Sparking series.

And it would seem like you're not only allowed to transform in battle, but also choose the forms before battle.

Since this'll cover all three series', I'm hoping we can finally play as Pan, GT Kid Goku, GT Oob, Cyborg Tao Pai Pai and others.

Seriously, why hasn't Pan shown up in ANY game aside from Final Bout? o_O; Only having two female fighters is kinda sad, even if Dragon Ball contains mostly men. Gotta include as many as you can that work. :P Though I'm sure we won't be seen Ran Fan and her stripping abilities. XP

That's not true, in the interview on gamespot they clearly say that it will go all the way from Dragonball to Dragonball GT

I doubt they'd count Kaioken as a character. They didn't in the first game, it was just a part of regular Goku's arsenal.

I am in awe. The interview video was awesome.

The character illustrations in the character selection screen are unbelievable.

You seem to choose in which form your fighter will begin the fight (if he can transform), the power auras are outstanding, the action is hotter than ever, and the CPU AI looks a lot more toned down (hopefully, only in the "very easy" mode).

This is going to be probably the best DBZ game ever. While I was very dissappointed at first (for hearing that it will not be for the PS3), now I am hyped as Hell.

Super Boo's "become a cookie" attack is ... just ... WOW.

Yup. The E3 Interview states that it will cover Dragonball to GT and "we'll be doing just about every saga". I just hope story mode adds up to be as much as they say it will. It sounds like Dragon Universe on steroids, which rocks.

I agree with Pedro. Possibly off topic but from what little I've seen and what I've heard, you won't need to wave your arms around like a raving lunatic to play but rather make small, quick movements that won't take up much effort (this applies to all Wii games and not just BT2).

Previously I had stated how I wasn't expecting much from this game if it was going to be to simular to the predecessor. Thankfully what I saw in the interview has washed away thoughts thoughts. From what was said and shown it looks like they've pretty much scrapped all the bad parts of the old game and improved them. I do hope that simple special attacks like KameHameHa can be performed in a simular fashion to the Budokai series, i.e. -> and O and just be performed straight away without having to hit the opponent to begin a small animation (correctly me if I'm wrong but isn't that how it was done in the previous one?). I am now officially looking forward to both this game and Super.

In the Budokai series, you had to perform a combination to initiate a special attack. In Sparking! you only had to press L2+O or triangle and L2+up or down+ O or triangle... pretty easy.

And I still dislike Wii. I don't want to have to raise my arms in the arm if I want Goku to use Genki dama. That sounds fine to me in theory, and it's very creative... but sometimes I like to play games for a few hours at a time, and I think I'd start to hate the whole interactive, 'lets get the gamers to move' aspect of the game after... maybe an hour. I'd much rather press L2+random buttons, which is why I am incredibly thankful this is also coming out for PS2.

Maybe that's optional. Turn on motion detection if you really want to get into it, turn it off if you just want to sit down and play.

As for the whole Wii thing, I won't want to get into a debate about it. I love the idea in general as it's different and trying make the gaming world take a step forward. However I will reserve my final opinion until after I've played one.

Just for you, Caracal, I double-check! The ki-blast seems to be the same between Tenkaichi and Tenkaichi 2, comparing the game I have to the gamplay video's of the sequel. Once you initiate the attack, there's about 2 seconds of the character charging the attack before its unleashed... So it looks like it does have that 'stop game play' that you mentioned. Sorry.
