Go away, more then half of all your posts have the word Tenshinhan.
And the topic says "Is Tenshinhan considered a human? Tenshinhan vs Kuririn".
I was referring to his other posts.

There are subjects to threads you know. How can you be involved in a thirteen page thread and not know its title..? :? Now.. I established the other thread so we can finally talk about about Tenshinhan's origins and a bit about his strength compared to Krillin. Right now, it seems like there isn't one solid answer of his origins but it is clear among most of the people here that Ten is stronger than Krillin.

Sorry for the HUGE necro post, but I'm always interested in this topic, what people have to say, debate or add. I'm hoping someone has something. I'm not going to make a new topic just for this again. My main post is the very first post in this topic, so be free to read it. I worked hard on evidence for a long time, and I'm still willing to add to it.

It boils down to this:

Is Ten Human?
There's nothing in the series to suggest he's anything but human. He doesn't do anything that other known humans can't do, and is never hinted at being anything more than human. The only thing that even hints at Ten being extra-terrestrial is one entry in the Daizenshuu - and the Daizenshuu makes other shit up too.

Ten v. Kuririn
Except for the short time between Kuririn getting a power up from the Great Elder and Ten getting trained by Kaio (he reaches the planet the same day but we don't know how long it takes for him to get stronger than Kuririn - considering Piccolo's huge power up we can probably say 'a couple hours'), Ten is always stronger.

I believe that during the 25th Budokai, Yamcha states that Kuririn is the strongest among humans, actually.

That's the one during the Buu saga right? Yamcha says it to Kuririn's daughter Marron to make her feel at ease with him fighting everyone. There's no way Kuririn's stronger than Ten at that point (Kuririn hadn't trained in years, while Ten stepped his training up).

Pretty much...that's all people gave me for Kuririn's side of the debate. How would Yamcha know Tenshinhan's current power level...? Gohan couldn't even find Tenshinhan for the tournament. Yamcha was doing exactly what desirecampbell said.

I don't know if this has been brought up before, or will have any help...

But I thought it would be interesting to know that another three-eyed dude walks across the screen in the Bojack movie.

I dunno. :?

Really? I just watched that and didn't notice. Approximate time/scene? I can grab some screens.

Yeah, this is around the time when Roshi's techno booby-vision kicks in. I'll take a screencap... but the quality won't be very good...

If you can get me some idea where to look I can grab screens from the Dragon Box. I'm looking at the scene now and I can find a Jesus-statue-Satan, a gumshoe, and a pink elephant, but no three-eyed-man.

Wait a second... looking for it...

(I've got the edited FUNimation version. The only uncut one I've got is the Big Green version)

EDIT: Oh shit, I think I was wrong. These Tien-look-alikes walk past in cloaks, but the things on their heads look like black spots (I think). :? Check it out.

If you can get a HQ version, you'll be able to determine.

I was saying in general that skill(representingTenshinhan)>power(representing Broly). You can have all the skill you want, but you won't be able to beat
Broly because...he's lame.
I had a dream in which Tenshinhan and Broli had a beamstruggle, in the livingroom of my Grandmother's trailer.
Tenshinhan won.

*ahem*. As for Ten Vs Kuririn... I... guess I try not to think about it since I like them both. ^^. Though with the not-training after Cell, it makes sense that Buu saga Tenshinhan is stronger than Buu-saga Kuririn.

Maybe a DBZ 25th Aniversory special will touch on Ten's origins. I'm not betting on it, though. (Not without an advanced copy of the script, anyway. :sneak:).

... Crap, I don't remember which levels Tenshinhan and Kuririn were in Ultimate Battle 22's buildup mode. Not like it proves anything, but... ... I don't remember....

Actually, this came up in chat a few days (weeks?) back and a sudden thought hit me. A realization, really. Based on what I've seen people say that the Daizenshuu says about him.... it doesn't say anything about being an alien. I believe it says three-eyed tribe. And there's nothing saying that there isn't a tribe of like, eighty or ninety 3 eyed humans out there. Being from a three-eyed tribe =/= alien in origins. 8)

Oh? I thought it said specifically that the 'three eyed tribe' was of alien origin? If it doesn't say that, then the whole idea is kicked-in-the-face done.

Ooh, you make me want to quote something... :D :D :D

Though the Japanese term uchuujin(?) quite litterally means something like "universe-person", so if "Alien" is used in the Daizenshuu, it's probably "space alien" type. :(

Oh, for god's sake...

Yes, it does say the "three-eyed tribe" are aliens.
And yes, that's "alien" in the "extra-terrestrial" sense of the term. The actual Japanese term was either "iseijin" (lit. "person from another planet") or "uchûjin" (lit. "person from space"), I don't remember exactly.
