Hmm...sounds logical, but it's not like we didn't just find out a whole lot of new information about certain things recently, from the SEGs. It might still be worth it eventually, but it would mean manually undoing it when necessary.

If you saw my recent post in the Dragonball Question section, we need people who can actually speak and read Japanese to do the Japanese text parts, some of this stuff in the DBWikia is just stupid as fuck...

I was speaking more about people who basically have an understanding of Japanese, especially when it comes to spelling character's names, like the kanji for Son Gokuu (孫悟空), Kame-Sennin (亀仙人), and the katakana for Buruma (ブルマ) and Furi-za (フリーザ), just saying it'd be horrible if someone actually wrote out the names in say, NJStar, and put up Freeza (フレエザ) or even just got the wrong Kanji for names.

It'd be nice if some Julians could definitely do that job and make sure no one is copy/pasting the wrong thing in there.

I hate to be annoying, but I was wondering what the status on the Wiki is now? It's been a while since we last talked about it but I'm still excited for it. I keep running into things every now and then and think, "Gee that would be perfect for the Daizex DB Wiki."

A new DB wiki would be nice since the normal DB wiki can be rather bad at some points since most of their stuff is based on fillers and the dub.

There is no point of having DB wiki since there is Kanzentai page + lot of news and additional info here on Daizex and this message boards.....

Except they don't have character pages, there's no good character pages anywhere on the Internet. The point of this wiki is to replace the shitty Dragon Ball Wikia that's full of misinformation, dub terms and LIES.

Yeah, that¨s completely true..... Today I searched for Janemba's official bio on net..... you can see the result in thread here.
It will be fine to finally establish character bios from Daizenshuu...... But I don't have Daizenshuu nor speak japanese....

What do you mean there's no... Oh... You're right. But we actually used to have a "Character Guide" on Kanzentai. Maybe I should look into bringing that back.

Man, am I late in this discussion! It's great to see that the idea of a Daizex DB Wiki has been accepted, what with the inaccuracy of the DB Wiki. I'm guessing that Dragon Radar is the accepted term for the site now.

Just to confirm -- is the editing going to be just for us at the Daizenshuu EX Forum? And is there any more progress on which logo is to be decided for the site?

"Dragon Radar" did seem to be the most popular choice, but that was quite some time ago.

Personally, I'd rather it just be a 'wiki.daizex.com' sort of thing, rather than serperating it from the main site. Not that it's my decision to be made...

I've also seen that on Wikipedia, they've merged both Future Trunks and Present Trunks' pages. So, on our Wiki, what's going to be our stance on merging character pages and such? For example, is Nappa going to have his own page or not?

I'm fairly certain the goal is to do everything DBWikia does and doesn't do correctly. So I'd say all three of those characters would get a page.

Not my decision, though...
