The Master of Disguise is my most favorite movie, like ever. I'm glad the director of that is doing DBZ!!! Pefect fit.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

If this turns out to be good, I'll respect Uwe Boll from now on.

Well, I was optimistic about this, but that director thing made me think of comparisons and the phrase Kung-fu Battlefield Earth crossed my mind. Oh dear god, no.

The whole Goku being in "uncool" kid thing threw me for a loop. Seriously. Did not see that one coming. Now it shall provide me infinite lulz.

If this information is true, I expect Ben-10 levels of shittiness from this movie. (But at least that movie is sort of staying true to its source material to a point...so, it'll be shitty for different reasons all on its own :3 )

Goku + school = does not compute.
I can't imagine him as unpopular either. I'd actually stick Goku in with one of the sports teams.

Um, at least Vegeta's safe.
On hiatus.

After reading that I think I wanna go cry in a corner. I hope to god that this is just some random thing somebody came up with and is not going to be the plot of this movie. I expect it to be pretty bad and "fancied" up for average movie-goers but if this is correct...then it's just horrible. I mean...at least get SOME things correct..i.e. Goku's dragonball being the 4-star and not the 3-star ball.
Elitism is a very bad personality trait. I'd rather deal with an eager to learn moron than a mean-spirited, angsty piece of shit.

So let's get this straight.....

Goku is essentially the equivalent of Smallville's Clark Kent (gone is his country bumkin-ness, as guessed by Rachel) and apparently known Chichi all his life while attending school. The Namekian race as a whole is apparently a demonic evil race that has sent "Lord Piccolo" to concur Earth with Goku, as revealed by Piccolo, a Saiyan to be his right-hand (hello Emperor Palpatine). Mai of all people is apparently being given a major role. Grandpa Gohan is still alive, though fated to die at the hands of Piccolo. And of course...with folks like Edison and Einstein, it's set on the same Earth as ours.

DEAR LORD!

Seriously, I haven't heard of anything branching so far off basic source material since the black-latex Jon Peters Superman movie script (where Krypton was still existing, Lex Luthor was an alien, Supes couldn't even fly, etc., etc.). I will say this, it's definitely an original story, albeit ripping off several elements from other major-media productions. It also looks like there'll be no trace of animal characters, guess that's no surprise, or hints of Goku's tail and his Oozaru form.

I can honestly say that if this movie makes it to teaser trailers and eventually theaters, I may just fucking drop acid...

Captain Awesome wrote: I agree completely, case and point, I've always been a huge G1 Transformers fan, now with the new movie, everyone claims to have watched the original show, I went to a party last night and had to put up with some douche in an Optimus Prime T-shirt trying to tell me about the Transformers.

(so naturally being a G1 nerd, I had to prove my superiority)

"Who succeeded Optimus Prime after his death"

"..."

"Yeah, I thought so, the correct answer is Rodimus Prime (Aka Hot Rod) you fucking poser"
I dealt with it more drastically, and infact did with some of those strange Nerd Wannabe emo looking kids.

This was a few months after TF2 was announced.

"OMIGOD, They're gonna make Transformers 2!"

"That ooooold news!"

"Oh yeah, why has it just been announced then?" Chavy voice

"Who cares, All I know is Grimlock is gonna be in it!"

"Who's this Grimm Locke guy?" assuming its an actor... I had to write it funny.

What Generation is this? 5 or something? I'm assuming 3 was Beast Machines and RID and 4 was the Unicron Trilogy.

Damnit Emo kids, you're not geeks, you don't read Comic Books, you read summaries on Wikipedia.
