For his story, maybe. Let's not forget he altered Cooler's finding out about Freeza by making Cooler just another lacky on Cold's ship.

The way he draws is almost Identical to the way Mr. Toriyama Draws.

I really like this, hopefully he makes more and doesn't give up on it.

Oh, I noticed something.

On page 58, you have "detestable Majin Boo" in the wrong place. It should be where you can see West Kaioshin getting pwn'd by Boo and the 50'ft tall Bibidi. And on 59, "Damn it all" is supposed to be in the next bubble.

That's all. Thanks for doing all this. It saves me the trouble of doing it myself

I actually couldn't fit it in that bubble without it looking like a weird caption to the illustration.

In kana it looks fine, but I'd have to stick the whole line in a corner, or along the top or bottom, it just always looked strange, and never looked like part of his speech.

Any ideas?

You know, I never thought of it like that. Making the text a little more "compact" might work. (I can never remember what in the hell its called, but it's that option in Photoshop that squeezes or stretches font. I should know this too, dealing with scanlations on a daily basis...) Either that, or just leave it. I never really thought of it like that, so that's why I didn't even think about how it looked.

You have "Nothing will work against him...Damn it all!" in the same bubble. It should be "Nothing will work against him..." and then in the proceeding bubble "Damn it all! This is one fine mess!!!"

Page 59's fixed and the updated zip's uploaded, easy peasy

But about page 58:

That last one's the best I could come up with, and I still think it looks weird. If I move the 'detestable' text down it gets obscured by the image, and if I move the 'she should' text up it makes that bubble look unbalanced. And having the texts at different heights makes it awkward to read.

*shrug* I haven't done much typography layout, what do you think is best?

Well, I was something something along the lines of this (Sorry for the crappy text; for some reason Photoshop isn't liking fonts at the moment. Anyways, it's just a suggestion on how to set up the panel and not a final thing or anything like that... that's your job!):

If you couldn't tell, I kinda re-arranged the number of lines in Kibito-shin's bubble to try and balance it out better, and had the text in the second bubble scroll from top to bottom, erasing a little bit of the picture to make the text visible.

I hate it when scanlators do that, it's hard to read. No up to down text should ever be in translated manga.

Not never, it'd be fine if it was a single word - but it does look awkward when it's a whole line of text, it's hard to distinguish between words.

So, general consensus on that third option?
