It's those darned kids these days. Wouldn't know a good song if it ripped their ear off and made them dance for it.
I doubt it helps that the audio quality of the original sounds like it was tied to the back of a car and dragged around by its neck for 20 years.

Both fit their respective scenes perfectly and had the effect of being stuck in my head after the first time I saw them.

My thoughts exactly. Overall excellently put together scenes thanks tot he music. Solid State Scouter is my default fighting song in the Sparking games.

Dragonball related right?

If so then;
Opening: Makafushigi Adventure
Ending: We were Angels
Overall: Solid State Scouter

I'm now in love with Hikari No Tabi and Aoi Kaze No HOPE. So they're my runner-ups.

I'm really digging the video game themes. I don't know why.

I have a couple of personal favorites:

- Detekoi Tobikiri Zenkai Power
- Makafushigi Adventure
- Cha-La-Head-Cha-La
- Solid State Scouter
- Battle Point Unlimited
- Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku
- Umnei No Hi
- Ikusa (DBZ Movie 2 Ending)
- Sabitsuita Machine Gun de Ima o Uchinuko

And I have one... dare I say... Faulconer song:

- Pikkon's Theme

Those are my favorites.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Eh... Probably Paranoid Android by Radioh- OH!

DragonBall... Right.

Yeah, I'm probably in the Spirit Vs. Spirit camp. Even after seeing a crap-quality MPEG years ago, I still get a little chill when I see that scene.

I also love We Gotta Power. More so than Cha-La Head Cha-La, for what it's worth.

Hm, I really like Spirit Vs. Spirit. The Tenkaichi Budokai insert song would come in close second though. Recently I've been developing a thing for Yeah Care Break too. Man Dragonball is full of great music it's hard to choose just one favorite song.

Blue Velvet, hands down. It's just so damn gorgeous just as a song, let alone any relation to Dragonball. I had a midi file of it for years that I adored before I had any idea where it came from. Once I found out what it was, and heard it with vocals, and found the lyrics, and realized the stream of consciousness I'd written to the midi fit really damn well with lyrics I hadn't even known existed... hell man I was hooked. I just love everything about the sound of it. I loathe GT with a passion, but I love its music the most- crazy, no?

Theme wise it's WE GOTTA POWAH because it's so damn badass. Honorable mentions go to Umei no Hi and Solid State Scouter because of how powerfully each piece defines its respective moment in the series. And as for the completely random batshit music on the CDs that has no concrete relation to the series, Aitsu ha Son Gokuu is just a catchy little tune that I like to listen to.

My favorite is probably "Day of Destiny ~ Spirit vs Spirit". Not only is it a good song on its own, but it will always remind me of one of the best moments in the series, Gohan's transformation into SSJ2.

My favourite song would have to be Hero, the movie 6 ending theme.

There are a lot of songs that come close to being my favourite. But I'd have to go with Vegeta's theme tune from DBZ Ultimate Battle 22. It's just sheer awesomeness.

DEFINITELY Hikari no Tabi, no contest.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Energy Disc Music (love that bass). I love so many dub tracks, but this one is simply my outright favorite. Disagree if you want, but it fit the scene so well.

Runner up would be Ginyu Transformation, which also fit its respective scenes extremely well.

My favorite song at this point is a toss-up between We Gotta Power (especially the awesome-tacular 2005 version) and Blue Velvet. Runners-up include Dan Dan, Solid State Scouter, and Unmei no Hi.

It is so hard to choose! I love hundreds of songs so I couldn't pick one.

My favorite songs would include:

1. Janie's Got a Gun by: Aerosmith
2. Love Song by: The Cure
3. Just Like Heaven by: The Cure
