Ooooooh this is gonna be fun. Rooting for my boy in pink but I'm expecting a lot out of both of them.

I'm expecting something akin to the 1min melee.

I am too but with the breakdown and research added in for this one, things could get unpredictable. I'm just excited for what could be a fun fight...even if it does end with the present bomb.

I'm not too familiar with Dan but as I said before Mr Satan is very strong as far as human standards go, able to win a World Tournament even. I can't see how he would have been considered a joke character had he been introduced into the Street Fighter series.

I still think he'd be a joke (considering he's inability to knock out a gunman while enraged)... but he would at least blend in better than in Dragon Ball.

Well, looks like Death Battle did their homework like they always do. Said his Real Name, told all about his origins and close encounter with Tao, Guess they'll just go with Herculé Satan because they can, which I'm fine with. If Satan is his Japanese stage name, and Herculé is his American stage name, why not combine the two? Doesn't really matter either way, Dan's next week.

Ok even as a Dan fan...PFFTAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Dan tapping into the dark hadou...Dan can't do that. I really recommend you do your research before making predictions. Dan can barely perform his knock off Hadouken let alone tap into the dark hadou.

His use of Raging Demon was a joke in MvC2 that isn't canon. If Deathbattle gives Dan the raging demon...even I will call BS and I love Dan, I've cosplayed as Dan.

Dang it.... I was wrong... Ahhh well... While it's cool that Death Battle went through the whole Mark being Mr. Satan's real name, I still don't really like that they chose to market the character as Hercule Satan. It's like what Viz did with naming Vegetto, Vegerott. It's trying to appease both sides to some degree but ultimately pleases no one (Well... me anyways). Honestly I would rather they just call him the Hercule for consistencies sake and just add in the footnote that yeah Hercule is just an American localization name... I don't know too much about Dan Hibiki, but my money's gonna be on Mr. Satan as unless there's some random game/episode of Street Fighter where Dan has a ridiculous cartoonish feat he only does once which ala Kirby that gives him some ultra super random stat increase. I mean Mr. Satan has monstrous durability in that he's been slapped into a mountain; flying several hundreds of feet into the air and surviving with only minor injuries. And if you include anime filler, he's able to punch through a bus and tear phone books in half. Also if you count the video games he has quite a few weapons such as bombs, rocks, and exploding Gameboys.

True. I should have mentioned jetpacks, and whatnot instead of those. I don't know about the anime, but I don't recall Mr. Satan using bombs in the manga.

Yeah he gave him chocolates filled with poison or something like that to try to kill him but it had no effect.

In the Udon comics he used it against Sakura but then tripped and fell over.

You can debate whether or not it's canon but this is Death Battle they've used Udon as a source for Akuma.

And if memory serves, Death battle got so much crap for using the Udon comics for Akuma. That was also their second episode and have since refined their research process.

Also no, Gouken kicked Dan out because he learned what Dan's motives for training was, he wanted revenge on Sagat who killed his father and was learning from Gouken for the sole purpose of killing Sagat. That's a big no no in Gouken's dojo. _{(And you edited that part of your post out...dang.)}

I apologize for my previous message but and I won't dig to deep into it, the same can be said towards you so I guess we both need to learn to tone the dickish behavior down yeah?
