DEATH BATTLE - Mr. Satan vs Dan Hibiki

Mr. Satan is the next DB character to fight in death battle with an opponent yet to announce.
The thread title will be updated once his opponent is reveal. In the meantime who do you think his opponent will be ? I my vote goes to Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter series.

Not gonna lie...I'm highly intrigued by this. I can't wait to see who he ends up facing. I'm drawing a blank on who else out there in fiction is a bit of a show-off but really doesn't have the skills to back it up, even if they are somewhat skilled otherwise, in quite the same way that Mr. Satan is. The only guy I can think of is Don Kanonji from Bleach...

Should prove amusing, whoever they go with.

I am calling it, they will measure his strenght by powerscalling, using the punchign score machine. If they take the anime as priority, a bear could 112 points so they will measure how strong a bear is in real life and then powerscalle it to Satan's 137.

I feel like this match is just thrown in because they're going to have Satan win and say "See, we don't hate DBZ like you say we do."
If Satan losses against whoever he's fighting it will only add fuel to an already huge fire.

I didn't even get to see it yet.

Mark vs Dan was hilarious, but since they've did that match for One minute melee, I think that Mark will take on someone from the Tekken series instead.

Well I believe Toriyama said Bob Sapp>Mr. Satan, so that could be a pretty bad detriment to him. Though I think Mr. Satan has more impressive feats than Sapp so.....

They have done same fighters in OMM and DB before (twice I think). So Dan is my guess and I think would be cool. But if not then a joke character from another fighter would be cool. Who is a joke character in Tekken?

I for one believe it's not going to be Dan Hibiki. Were it him I feel like he would be announced along with pfth... Hercule Satan.

A good presenter should make it a point to be unexpected and everyone seems to already be expecting Dan Hibiki so it would kind
of just come off as a disappointment if they were actually going with the guy everyone expected. I mean where's the showmanship in that?

Stop fan raging.

The only reason we are so smug is because we saw that one episode or read that one chapter in the last saga where absolutely nothing interesting was happening where Videl explained surnames and junk. Before that moment, casuals and hardcore fans thought the same thing, and it's such an obscure piece of trivia, that fan raging over it isn't going to help none. Hell some of us big ol fans still think that Bulma's last name is Brief-It's not. She has no last name. Brief is her dad's first name.

If you're really hung up about it, leave a message on the videos that come next about Mark, and hope that the word gets around.

There's King from One Punch Man, there's Zonge from Toriko, Don Kanonji from Bleach, Buggy the Clown from One Piece also qualifies (though he's more of OP's Pilaf, until recently at least), Andy from Cowboy Bebop. Those all come to mind, besides Dan.

Don't really see what the big deal is. Tons of people know him by his censored name.
Plus they might point out the naming differences in the actual video. IIRC they pointed out that it isn't OVER 9000 but really 8000 in the Goku video.

Me too. I've disagreed with Screw Attack's other Death Battles (Goku vs Superman) because of a few reasons, but this should be hilarious no matter what the result is
