I don't understand why Toriyama doesn't let the girls fight

Not quite... he did gain a significant power-up from the majin charm but he barely had any control over his powers as Goku himself noted. Physically he's still a weakling even Mr. Satan wipe the floor with given Videl was smacking him around early on during their fight even dealing great damage to him even if he wasn't feeling it and keep in mind this is a girl who uses standard gym equipment for training. The main reason she started losing in the first place is cuz her stamina capped out on her.

That wasn't damage. If he can't feel it or register it, it's not damaging. Yes, Mr. Satan beat him, but that's before the power up. Gohan says she's stronger than her father.

I'm sure even 21st Budokai Jackie Chun could easily take out Spopovich with the majin charm.

Muten Roshi was also far above normal limits.

It's still damage... granted it wasn't any lasting damage but Videl very well coulda killed him if it wasn't for his weird zombie-like endurance side-effect. Goku was even shocked that he got up so easily despite all the damage he took.

Maybe Jackie Chun was the wrong comparison. I'd say BoDB Goku or Yamcha could take him without much trouble and they were barely above human level (by Dragon Ball standards).

Toriyama doesn't want to do it. That's reason enough. You might as well be asking why he doesn't let Oolong get more wishes from Shen Long. He made the first wish in the series, so obviously he's super-special and deserves special treatment!

Bukujutsu is a trained technique it has little to do with power level. Chiaotzu during the 22nd Budokai could fly but he was still a weakling compared to the Top 3 fighters at that point.

Likewise, Videl having bukujutsu doesn't mean much considering she has no speed feats while flying and could hardly do anything in the air (she has used it to run away). Chi-Chi may not know bukujutsu but she's easily capable of jumping at ridiculous heights... a feat Videl flat-out considered impossible and was super fast even while up in the air much like Goku before he started flying around during combat. Even as a kid she was capable of beheaded a T-rex with rather effortlessly (which I don't see Videl doing).

What's Videl's best feat exactly? Fighting common thugs? Breaking the neck of a fighter even Mr. Satan could wipe the floor with? Not very impressive even by Early Dragon Ball standards.

Yes, they are, but that doesn't mean Toriyama needs to do something he doesn't feel like doing. Don't go to an apple expecting it to make you orange juice.

This thread exists in the assumption that Toriyama is writing every plot twist and turn in Super.

However, obviously, Toriyama enjoys drawing women. He was more or less forced by Torishima to make Dragon Ball star a boy.

I've watched cat-fights in Naruto, Fairy Tail, Bleach, OP, a bunch of other run-of-the-mill shows. They were puke inducing migraines.

Fan-service (female bimbos dressing exposing the cleavage, annoying voices, horrible fighting style & atrocious duex machina) & a couple of plot-induced stupidity have always made me hate them

Thankfully, DragonBall is spared & god bless Toriyama. Though I always appreciate some badass moments of Toriyama's attractive female characters as Lunch (robbery scenes), Chi Chi (whopping a bunch of RRA soldiers), 18 (owning Veggie), Videl (whopping criminals & evil doers).

Even Pan was great in GT, especially in its 1st Arc. Watching a kawaii girl kickass along with Goku has always been rewarding

I think the appeal lies in Toriyama's way of handling action scenes, which are easy to follow. Hence, his fights be it male or female are fluid

With that being said, I do wish to see 18, Pan & Bulla to be in action for at least a good 50%

If they want to have female or whichever gender they think of (i.e. completely made-up), that's fine but just hope it won't be forced upon. It's bad enough that, dare I say, SJWs and Feminists are already damaging the video game market in the west.

No one is saying he should add female fighters just because. They're saying he should use the female fighters that are already there because they have been shown to be on par or stronger than some of the male characters.
