Although I do think saying "he needs to die" and "get shot more than 9 times" is a bit too far. I know he's a disgrace to the music industry, but the worst thing you could say is that he should have his vocal chords ripped out of him. It doesn't "sully" the name of Dragon Ball--I don't think it even has an overall impact on the series, like Broli or GT. It's just Soulja Boy selling his crappy, "hip-pop" music that only tone-deaf girl chavs will buy.

Agreed, believe me I cringe every time he releases something. As to why he's still alive, I have no clue. But he needs to die, like right now.

Edit: No, I really believe saying he should die suffices. I've seen vastly superior rappers "die" by getting shot or something akin to that, he should be next. He has no talent, yet is under the delusion that he can actually rap. Furthermore he continues to release crappy release after crappy release just becuase he thinks he had one good song (Crank Dat) which isn't even that great. I'm sorry but you can't feed off the popularity of one thing for the rest of your career. It's like M. Night Shyamalan thinking he can still make good movies just becuase Sixth Sense and Signs were good, when in reality his past four movies (The Village, Lady in the Water, The Happening, Last Airbender) have been steaming piles of horse dung that have dragged his name through the mud. (I don't care if Airbender was a commercial success; he didn't live up to the story, let alone the characters. And you want to talk about bad acting? (Yuck), it's a terrible movie regardless of if you've seen the series beforehand or not. I chalk up Soula Boy's (sigh) "Death Note" Mixtape, "Anime", and "Goku" releases as indicators that he really should take some of the money he's made, drop out of the music business and try and get an education. But since that will never happen I'm opting for him to die painfully by slowly bleeding out on the side of the street from a shootout.

I don't really care for Soulja Boy's catalogue of music to be fair. But I do respect the fact that he self marketed himself in stardom. I respect his hustle and the fact that he made a song about a few of his favorite manga/anime characters. That's how references work in most rap songs(been listening to the genre since age 2. I'm 21 do the math.). I never understand blind rage against Soulja Boy, at least nowadays. Yes his music has no lyrical value but at least he's improving the quality of life for himself, his friends, and immediate family.
