I like it (uh, the Dragonbook one. Not that I don't like the Dragon Radar logo, but it's a little sterile, as you say, and I prefer the name Dragonbook).

Maybe move the Dragonbook text actually below the globe, perhaps? I'm assuming there'll be plenty of space for a logo, so there doesn't need to be any cramping issues. I can see why it's done for the Dragon Radar, it covers up a bit of empty radar space there.

I'm not sure the jigsaw globe would look good in the radar myself. Maybe just seven random placed bright spots, like on the screenshot posted? It's going to be hard to find a good, crisp image for it too.

Just my 2 cents on the name and such. I personally prefer Dragon Radar as the name of the wiki and the 4-star ball globe logo, despite the fact its not a radar. Of course, if we get a Super Awesome (or Exciting if you prefer) Radar picture to use as the logo, that could be cool too.

I vote for Dragonbook. Not only is it a nod to a reliable information source, but it's a nod to a reliable information source that cites facts from the Japanese version instead of the English version.

I'd say "Dragon Radar" because the Wiki is going to be like a radar for accurate Dragon Ball information.

I think Dragonbook is nice and descriptive, but...for some reason, I still like Dragon Radar. I don't know why. I also like both logos. I've always liked TT's globe, but a good dragon radar would definitely make sense. I guess that's why I haven't posted my opinion until now: I just can't decide.

Perhaps, with some awesome photoshooping, the logo could be that book the characters are reading in the DBO promo video?

That is, if Dragonbook ends up being the name.

I think I've said it before, but whatever the logo is, it should be simple, easily recognizable, and should look good at multiple sizes. I think the globe and dragon radar ideas fit that, but I'm unsure about anything more complicated that would start looking weird or confusing at smaller sizes.
