I hate that Goku & Trunks rarely turn super saiyan in the first few episodes of GT. If they would man they would easily take charge but they just keep messing around. I really hated the Gildo fight. They punched then talk then repeat over and over and over till it was done.

Saiyajin hair isn't indestructible. It just doesn't grow past a certain point/shape. If you cut it off, it would just gradually grow back to that shape.

Because that would kind of defeat the point of having him do character designs at all? At any rate, the moustache was definitly Toriyama's idea. The GT Perfect Files say that the anime staff was quite shocked by it.
