Bleh, it's still 'Shipping Soon' per Amazon. Ah well, I'm hoping they're just being lazy about updating the site status. Maybe tomorrow when I get to work I'll have an e-mail saying it's already halfway here

Mine left Tokyo about 2 hours ago, so I'm watching DHL like a hawk. Hopefully, if I'm real lucky, it'll be here tomorrow. Otherwise, it'll probably be Saturday or more likely Monday.

YES! On the way!
I just checked DHL.com this morning [I find I can use the tracking in the US, rather than the Japanese page, which is nice] and it's in the hands of DHL now. Only time will tell on how quickly it ships.
COME ON-!

Someone better take a picture of themselves wearing the scouter.

Because I've become such a camwhore lately, I'll be sure to take a picture of myself with the Scouter.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I had a camera, or access to one, but I don't so I've failed.
Damn, though, I haven't been this excited [which is basicly me just being generally happy] since Budokai 1, and then again, for Budokai 2 [then selling it because I wasn't happy with the story mode, which after cheating to unlock everything bored me to no end] and then only marginally excited for 3' and wishing I'd been more excited when I enjoyed it to no end.
Ah, I am glad I managed this. Having this will make me a happy man.

So, yeah. Mine just arrived. I'm at work though, and I really wanna go home.
Impressions of package:
High Quality as always, the box is Goku's SSJ face on one side (embossed lines), the box itself is gold and the reverse side is Shenlong.
The book with the box includes overviews of all the movies (in step with the other boxes), and some Toriyama character designs. The DVD's themselves apparently have an image gallery, and chapter selections.
I haven't pulled out the scouters yet, but they're here. Toei enclosed a foam pad for comfort with the scounters and a small sticker for each movie poster. Cool stuff, though an 8.5x11 or A1 sheet of each would have been nice too...ah well ;p
Looks like a high quality package. I'm looking forward to watching. And yes, the box says letterbox...but it says 16:9 letterbox. From my experience, some companies use 'letterbox' interchangably with widescreen, which may be the case here. I'll know for sure when I get home.
More when I have more to report. For now, it's here and I'm crawling through the next 4 hours of work ;p

Very nice. After checking the tracking, it looks like it's been in my state since about 7am and is scheduled for delivery.
I so hope it comes in before I leave for work. >_>

Yay, mine and Mike's arrived too, though I've been sworn not to open it until he gets home from work. The suspense... it kills!
You can expect some nice pics (will they involve scouters? Only time will tell!) to be posted along with the next podcast.

Sorry, I'll be beating you to that one
And I may even post the geek trinity...myself, wearing a scouter while holding Anduril from Lord of the Rings and my IMI Jericho 9mm (Spike Spiegel's firearm from Cowboy Bebop) ;p

I look forward to not only the video-comparisons of the movies, but also on-disc extra comparisons. Well, when it comes to FUNi for the movies, the only ones that've really sported real extras are movies 5, 6, 8, 9, and 12 (I count 9 and 12 because their Character Profile sections are quite decently insightful, plus I'm just being kinda anal about it

). Meri, you must let us know how fun playing with those scouters really is come next podcast. Plus, pics of you and Mike wearing the scouters would be perfection for the Podcast page.

Well, I can already tell you the individual discs probably don't each have extras. As with the original DragonBoxes, the extras are more than likely on the last disc. Also, if you want character biographies, there is the huge book that comes with each DragonBox and shows everything from descriptions and plotlines to concept sketches

As we speak, I'm fiddling around with my Dragon Radar remote in impatient anticipation as I wait for my Dragon Box movies to come in.
I seriously hope they didn't come by this morning. If they had, I probably wouldn't have heard 'em knocking and I know management over in the offices doesn't hold any packages should the person not be home. @_o;
As soon as I get mine, I'll be sure to take pictures.

I just got mine, but unfortunately I'm still at work. I want to go home for lunch and open it, but I know if I do I won't want to go back to work. Oh the dilema's of life...

You people and your packages. Y'all got 'em on time, but every one of you is stuck at work (or otherwise can't open them . . . MERI) and can't actually do anything with them yet. I just hope you're as tortured as those of us wee folk who want to begin living vicariously through actual Dragon Box owners.
Everybody's a friggin' Super Saiyan, but nodody can do a damned thing about Cell, can they? Same thing with you and your pretty boxes.

The
NUMBER ONE Goten fan, and a fucking epic one at that.

LOL, that's a pretty damn good comparision, actually.
Yeah, I get out of here in an hour (already met my 40 for the week), so I'll take pictures real quick and post here for you guys. Lo ciento mis amigos

Unfortunately for me, my package still hasn't arrived yet. I guess Friday's a busy day or something. :s The last thing I got from them arrived quick as hell.
