What the hell? Why does the actor playing Goku look so damn serious!?
The scene probably plays after Gohan dies.
Wait is that possible?
"Poor Jimmy was the last one to go. Tex walked up to him, pulled Jimmy's skull right out of his head and beat him to death with it. "
"Wait a second... how do you beat someone to death with their own skull? That doesn't seem physically possible. "
"That's exactly what Jimmy kept screaming."

CUT TO TEX, IN BLACK ARMOR, BEATING JIMMY TO DEATH WITH HIS OWN SKULL
"This doesn't seem physically possible!"

I'd say Chatwin has this "What the hell is this thing?" look on his face.

Also, regarding your earlier image, it's normal for movies to have certain scenes shot from various angles. Only one is usually chosen as the best if a reshoot isn't needed. As for the color, it's also got to do with the qualities of both videos. Obviously one looks darker and messier in terms of quality than the brighter, cleaner screenshot after it.

I'm assuming this was posted to show that Wong is trying to incorporate the manga so much that he's actually recapturing scenes. This would be great, if that's what this comparison showed. Having the Dragon Ball on the left, and Goku on the right is simply a coincidence, and a rather likely one, since the only other close shot that could show both his expression and the item would be 'Goku left, ball right'. Further, looking at the actual shot, we see Chatwin, again, looking pensive; while in the anime screen cap we see a curious Goku.

Hey i found this picture over at a Spanish forum i frequently go to.
This is the pic of James Masters as Piccolo we saw a while back in black and white, but now it is in color, and we can see clearly the tone of green he has. (apparently this is the young Piccolo).
Image
I have no idea if this is true, or a montage in photoshop or something, but if it really is real this pic, then I'm really happy with Piccolo.
Don't know if you have seen this picture before, but if not, tell me what do you guys think? 8)

Likewise, but yeah, no telling if this is real or not. I could quickly and easily colorize that original picture myself. That is a good color setup for him though.

Actually, they look like DragonBall pants.

Did you notice Chatwin taking it out of a PURPLE box?

His pants look more black than purple to me. Or they’re purple; just really really dark. But definitely not the shade we see in that color image.

Unless they’re different clothes altogether. But I can’t think of a reason for Piccolo to change clothes, since he’s A.) an alien and B.) been trapped for thousands of years. Unless he materializes them like in the comics, though I don’t see that really serving a purpose in this movie. So for now let’s assume that he only has one outfit, and these images of him flipping are just him without the red hooded cloak we’ve also seen him wearing. Can you really see him donning that red cloak with those purple pants? It would just look gaudy. I think the wardrobe people have more sense than that…

Besides, you can see some of the grayscale image near his right arm that wasn’t completely colored. Also, the crew member has been digitally painted out with a feathered brush, as indicated by the fading opacity. So it was brought into Photoshop (or Paint Shop, or whatever) at least once. The likelihood of it being the original photo seems slim to me.

It's fake, for crying out loud. He obviously erased the man standing next to Piccolo. Guys, come on, did you actually believe that!?

In order to demonstrate why it’s [probably] fake, you have to entertain the idea that it could be real. That’s all I was doing. I personally didn’t believe it, but some people need convincing.

I was just thinking about how people are complaining about how much this movie is deviating from it's original subject matter, and although I do agree I must point out a movie that deviated heavily, yet still managed to be pure awesome, that movie is The Crow. Not any of it's horrid sequels, but the original. Here are some examples, and if You haven't seen the Crow, or read the comic, I feel bad for you cause you are missing something truly good.

Comic listed first, then it's (movie equivalent).

T-Bird is the leader of a gang who kill Eric Draven and His girlfriend one night when their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. The girlfriend, Shelly is raped multiple times while Eric lays helpless, Eric survives but dies in the hospital.

(T-Bird is just a flunky of Top Dollar, he has a few friends who are all criminals. The group break into Shelly's apartment, Rape Her, and then when Eric comes home, he is shot, stabbed, and tossed out a window, Eric dies, Shelly lives but dies at the hospital.)

Eric is brought back to life by a Skull Cowboy (possibly death himself) and is lead by a Crow to fight and kill the members of T-Bird's gang. There is no time limit or restriction given on his invulnerability, when Eric is hurt, he is left scarred and bloody.

(Eric is brought back by a Crow, who is the source of all his power, if the crow is injured or killed, he loses his power. All his wounds heal immediately with no visible scarring.)

In the Comic, Eric is basically the sole protagonist.

(In the movie, The characters of Officer Albrect, Sarah, Sarah's mother, and Another Cop, are all given larger feature roles.)

In the comic, T-Bird is the only important villain.

(In the movie, All the gang members are given larger roles, Top Dollar, who was largely unimportant is now the main antagonist. Two villains were added who didn't even appear in the comic. Fun Boy who had some redeeming qualities in the comic is changed to a straight up douche.)

The comic was is Black and White

(The movie was in color even against the wishes of the original author and some of the cast.)

There are numerous other changes as well, I just don't feel like listing them all. But my point is, that something can deviate a lot from it's source, and still be awesome. I love both the comic and the movie. I am not saying that Dragonball will be as good as the Crow, but my point still stands. And for the record, the Crow is a graphic novel, not an on going series with multiple continuities.
