Anyone else noticed this? I thought it was fake but then I rechecked the two trailers and it's indeed true. Seems like they'll be slightly nerfing some of the visuals, at least in my view :? Or maybe not, maybe the way it looked was edited for the first trailer only, I don't know.

^ It's likely just a case of artistic choice, making some shots final, I wouldn't call that "nerfing" as I do think the second version is better as the first one really exagerates the veil of light.

In this case, they might have thought that the first shot was problematic either visually (too overblown, like a big veil hiding and blurring some details) or logically (Beerus might have a heavy sleep, but perhaps it still makes more sense that he would sleep in a darker setting rather than having a projector shining blinding light onto him).

So surely, some shots were tweaked here and there as months went by to the release, but just tell yourself that while some new revisions will not suit you (like this one), surely other revisions will be better (they might be adding extra effects sometimes rather than taking them away for example, or taking away some effects that YOU would have thought unwelcome this time)! :)

The first trailer likely had less time for them to be precise about the compositiing. In the second shot, the details of the linework is lot more clear, so the more subtle touch doesn't just flash the viewer's eyes with a bright, white light. It gives the effect of the camera lens being in proper focus this way.

If it's changes to the artistic view, then I guess it may be something new, because i recall some shots from the DBS Broly and Super Hero trailers which you could tell were actually just unfinished when compared to the shots in the final products, such as missing extra layers of shading and lighting (I even remember seeing a short trailer showing a unfinished version of SSJB Goku vs Ikari Broly with what seemed to be the same background used for SSJB Goku vs Golden Freeza from Fukkatsu no F). In this case neither look a more polished / finalized version of the other in my view, just different (being more objetive, nerfed was more personal)
