1: Untrue. CACs are ALREADY superior to pretty much all the cast characters because of their sheer customization.
2: HA! No. Especially if you have multiple characters. In the first game you had to replay great ape fest for ages just for that last one level. The EXP granted from the PQs just wasn't built for the higher levels and I bet this game will be exactly the same.
3: What? The level cap increases are free. If they DID cost money, I'd be furious, since that'd be basically pay to win.

CAC's are only competitive (in PvP) with the best of the regular roster when they're min-maxed to the highest degree. Even then normal characters like SSGSS Goku have more skill points in there trees than even a level 99 character will, with a +6 QQ bang equipped. There whole strength is obviously there customization, duh. Most of the cast if regular characters is just garbage. That's not the CAC's fault. Nobody cares about PvE balance except for bullshit Expert Missions that are just unfair.

It's five character levels. Put on 40 Ton Weights and do PQ's or Expert Missions. It's not that hard.

I keep forgetting it's part of free update and not DLC 1, in that case it's just something to convince people to put more time into there already maxed out CAC.

No. Getting to level 85 ain't that hard, but getting to level 99 is fucking ridiculous.

As for cast vs CAC, there's no fucking doubt in my mind that CACs are better in almost every way, and they should have been relegated to staying at level 80.

1. That's the point. The game barely wants to play with the Z cast. The character select starts on your CaC for a reason

2. It wasn't even a grind in this one though. I reached 80 just by the story, the Time Rifts and like half the PQs. Plus there's the "40 ton weights item"

3. true, but I can guarentee it'll come out in a free update anyway so

So at the end of the Jump Festa trailer it lists the OP and ED's for DB, DBZ and GT. Can anyone answer why? I assume they'll be music DLC, but will we finally get them outside of Japan?

Oh and English trailer confirms SSjRose' Black, Zamazu and Vegetto Blue for DLC. So that's neat.

Since it never worked in the past, I don't think so.


I get the feeling that SSJ Goku & Vegeta (Whis Gi) will be secretly included in the game aswell, because they both fought in this form against Frost/Cabba.

Just got this game yesterday. I plan to get all items,etc. since it seems that the RNG is allegedly more forgiving than the first game.

Meh. Predictable, but so far away from what I would like to get. I'm starting to regret to have bought the season pass this time around. Even when I got it with a good discount.

So, the first 2 DLC Packs pretty much wraps up Super content for right now, so will Packs 3 & 4 give us more movie villains like Super Android 13 and Bojack or characters like King Vegeta?

So I'm trying to get every skill from the pqs got about 20 left.

Does anyone know a way of telling if:

1. There are special requirements to get the skill (kill with ult, get z rank, kill x guy last etc etc)

2. Its a “you got skill” during the level or after the quest gain.

3. Hitting retry will help getting the skill or do you have to come in and out of the offline pq hit back to conton and go back in to have another shot.

With DLC #2 finishing up Super, this is who I think the next 2 will have.

#3 : Super #13, Bojack, Baby, Hatchyack & fused Zamasu.

#4 : 2nd form Freeza, Imperfect Cell, #19, Dr.Gero & Dabura.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I immensely hope DLC Pack 2 includes all those characters. Though I do find it odd that Merged Zamasu isn't listed.

I'm predicting that SSJB Goku and Vegeta in their old outfits will be part of DLC Pack 2, though there is a possibility of free DLC.

I really would like characters that have minimal appearances get their chance to shine a little bit in XV2, I'm mostly referring to Chilled and Tarble, some others would be welcome of course.
