I never got the sense that Goku truely fell in love with Chichi, nor she with him. I think she was a kid who was in love with the idea of being in love. Whenever Goku asked why they did something, Chichi's typical answer is "that's what people/couples do."

Like anything, I'm sure anything remotely sexual was awkward at first, but the more experience you get, the more comfortable one gets.

If you look at my post above, Daizenshuu 7 says he was built from a human, just like #17 and #18.

I haven't seen the episode in forever.... does his "origin" make it look like he was a reanimated corpse?

I don't think he is, if only because of how much of a warm personality he has. (and since his intellect is still completely intact)
Sean Schemmel is THE MAN! :)

Me- "Also, before anyone mentions it, Schemmel's interview was from nearly 15 years ago. He paid a brief visit to Kanzenshuu's forums a few years back and earned legendary respect that cancels out anything he said from that long ago. :D"

He looks like Frankenstein's monster, so it's a good guess he was once dead.

I always assumed he was pure mechanical because 17 wondered why Dr. Gero would go back to using a pure mechanical base for 19.

I thought it was when #16 told him that he was completely robotic, #17 said "If Gero was able to construct an artificial human from nothing, why did he go back to using a human base?"

The only scars he has are on his face:

I think that sequence is filler He has a scar on his head and bolts in his neck. He looks like Frankenstein's monster.

Goku obviously liked sex with Chi Chi enough to make a second child. Shall we need more?

I bet he took control that time.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Goku has sexuality, it's just tucked safely off-page / off-screen. But he definitely has affection for Chi Chi, and he has Gohan and Goten, of course.

*Imagines Goku secretly being some grand Casanova* XD

Actually, that's super-prevalent on the doujinshi side of things; especially ssj Goku.

He probably just wasn't that sexual...

Also, it has to be considered that Goku never managed to learn to act like a normal person and get embarrassed/uncomfortable/self-conscious like normal people do (that hit in the head as a kid left him permanently brain damaged tbh), so even though I don't really feel the Goku/Chichi chemistry from Goku's side, I honestly can't imagine how a Goku with a big crush would act. Maybe he can't get a crush the way normal people do and the way he was with Chichi is honestly as infatuated and 'in love' as he can get.
