Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Yeah, that's definitely possible. I notice that most of the good guys generally don't cause a lot of unnecessary damage when powering up (especially if they're not using unstable forms; I'm pretty sure I remember Vegeta and Trunks causing some weather weirdness in the Android/Cell saga when showing off their new bulked-up Super Saiyan forms, but like you said Gohan's power-up from the old Kaioshin didn't cause a lot of destruction even though he was waaaaay stronger than anyone in the Cell saga by this point), while the bad guys tend to do a lot more, especially the ones who don't have the greatest level of ki control (Vegeta and Freeza, who are pretty much stated to have poor ki control compared to the main cast, though Vegeta improves after his first fight... compare to Cell and Buu later on, who are much stronger but also have near-perfect control of their energy and don't usually seem to cause as much, if any, random destruction just from powering up.)DBZ isn't even consistent in its own universe. I always thought the whole causing mass destruction from powering up was more of a not fully mastered ones power or just showing off kind of thing. Notice how Vegeta powering up in the saiyan arc did more than Gohan powering up when he fought super buu.
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
I suppose that's a problem with the contant increases in powe. From time to time Toriyama need to create new creative ways to show how powerfull someone is, but since there isn't much more than making the place shake and breaking the floor, it gets a little repetitive and unconvincing.dario03 wrote:DBZ isn't even consistent in its own universe. Care to transcribe that to proper English so we can understand why you think Dragon Ball Z isn't consistent to its own universe? Isn't convincing.Fox666 wrote:I suppose that's a problem with the contant increases in powe. I was asking why you thought Dragon Ball Z wasn't consistent to its own universe, because your writing is incomprehensible.Fox666 wrote:Your English poor too.

I don't take too kindly to people that try to troll me, and I was curious as to why you thought such biased nonsense.Fox666 wrote:No hablo espanol, senor.

Your mom is a biased nonsense.
Wait, what was we talking about? Oh well, this is a plauful thread, that kind of heated discussion don't belong here.

Sure it does, it was in response to what you said. Since there's no ground to what you're saying. For your information, my mother died of cancer last year.Fox666 wrote:Your mom is a biased nonsense.

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
The good guys probably do cause less damage most of the time, but I would say it just jumps around a lot no matter who it is. Cell made the whole world shake (don't recall if that was just anime or in the manga), but I don't really recall Buu causing to much destruction when powering up. Buu did start tearing the universe up but I think that was more of him actually trying to, than just a side effect. When Goku first goes SS3 against fat buu he also makes the world shake but shortly after he can just jump right into the form with no effects on the area around him. Yeah we could call that a unstable form but that doesn't explain why nothing happens the other times that he transforms or why he could just jump into it in a instant against Super Buu.Pantalones wrote:Yeah, that's definitely possible. Whenever I am playing an online game, and someone offend the mother of another, they always respond their mother died of sort. So you can understand my skepticism.paperbowser wrote:For your information, my mother died of cancer last year.

Then that reflects on what I've said earlier, about you making biased assumptions.Fox666 wrote:Whenever I am playing an online game, and someone offend the mother of another, they always respond their mother died of sort. Eehhh, I really don't see how I couldn't be making biased assumptions in a thread called "Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball". I wonder what would happen if the subject was pirates vs ninjas?

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
There's only one Dragon Ball and facts related to that series alone, whereas there's a various different pirates and ninjas. You can try to make fun of me, but you don't make much sense in doing so.Fox666 wrote:Eehhh, I really don't see how I couldn't be making biased assumptions in a thread called "Dragonball Vs. Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Right, and this thread was ever meant to make much sense...
