DBZ games in general aren't really technical to the point where having fancy Ultimates would hinder the game play in any way. I'd sure rather not be looking at this right now".
ultimates atack cutscenes would be cool and i know that feeling when you won with an ultiamte atack.
but i dont feel that anymore maybe becouse i grew up idk.
imo they get boring pretty damn fast.
same with the storm series i dont realy care for those over the top cutscene ultimates anymore.

what i think is a good thing about the everything being in real time are the super atacks.
you have no idea how tired i was at one point when i played tenkaichi 3 and raging blast 2 they got boring and annoying tbh.

i only used them for role playing after that and even that got boring pretty fast.

i think I'm the only one who's happy that they made everything in real time.

This is by far one of the dumbest decisions they have made in this game. Why would they give it only to Cac's when they stated that the costumes come from the main characters? The system they created for the existing characters is pretty stupid. All they needed to do was use the same customization system as the Cac but leave out the full customization. They could have just included the costumes and any super or ultimate you want. What worries me is they probably won't listen to us and just leave it like it is and not allow us to play with these costumes. It's bullcrap

If you're in a 3v3 battle, though, and you start getting 2 or three ultimates being used in a row (or within just a minute or so apart)....that would start interrupting the pace.

I'm fine with "cinematic" attacks in 1v1 fights, but in a game like this, real-time attacks work much better.

Well, Xenoverse is out. Which means we have access to the game's credits. Which means we get to see who did the music for Xenoverse, which I thought someone would've gone through by now.

So, under the "BGM" section of the credits, three composers' names come up:
栗山 善親 - Yoshichika Kuriyama; 寺田 志保 - Shiho Terada (also a keyboardist); 横関 敦 - Atsushi Yokozeki (also a guitarist)

Based on the admitedly brief google search I did with their names, they seem to have worked (between the three of them) on music for Kageyama/JAM Project, GARO and Super Robot Wars. Anyone with a bit more knowledge on these names and their influence here, please go ahead. I've been listening to the music from Xenoverse and have been really enjoying it, looking forward to that in the game :thumbup:

As the saying goes, you can't please everyone. There will never be a DBZ game let alone a game period that's perfect. There were definitely some things they could have done differently, but from what I've seen overall, they put together a heck of a game. Every system has flaws, but it depends on how much those flaws affect the system. The good clearly out weighs the bad when it comes to Xenoverse.

Reddit is throwing a fit over the season pass that just went up on Steam for locking out skills.

Most of them don't understand the MMO aspect of the game so it's being blown out of proportion. Seems they're taking it as though Street Fighter cut out Hadouken and sold it as DLC.

I don't like DLC as much as the next guy but I hope this ignorance doesn't harm sales too much. I want more Dragon Ball on PC.

Those screenshots look really nice. It's too bad I don't have a good PC :(
I really hope they make more content despite the negativity. Or else we'll have to wait at least another year for a sequel and pay $50-$60 AGAIN for new content or, worse, have a developer like Spike come back to make the new game.

I most likely won't be since I'm not a big fan of supporting these kinda practices. I just take issue with the fact this is being made out to be this huge deal when it's really no different to any other bog standard DLC plan. It's headline skimming with no research done into how it actually affects the game.

Where's the madness for Evolve?! That game's pre-order/DLC plans are insane.
