Just a heads-up, the link on the Podcast page for Episodes #1 - #100 reads "#101 - #150". :?

EDIT: I BEG YOU to review that Unauthorised Guide; I've been hoping for a DaizEX review of it ever since the Cocoro one. It is the funniest book I have ever read. You guys who haven't read it don't know what you're missing.

I think I hear a little bit of Hikari no Tabi near the end of that song! :D

The phrase is "all quiet on the western front"; it comes from the book and movie.

Is it just me, or did that song sound like a combination of a whole lot of different DB songs?

Totally. There's lots of little hints here and there to other stuff, and it's one of the reasons I like it so much. It's not quite a medley... but it almost is, using "Hikari no WILLPOWER" as the backing for the rest of it.

Great Podcast! As for that song that opens Revenge of King Piccolo, I do know that it was NOT Hironobu Kageyama-at least it didn't seem to be (It was a loud show floor). I listened to it specifically to see if it was him, and to my musical knowledge it did not sound like him. So there's a small tidbit for you.

Nice, short podcast :).

Meh, I don't really care for the news concerning the live-action sequel. I am pretty interested in the news concerning the possible FUNimation DB release. Like you mentioned, there was some suspicious suspiciousness going around when the "Complete Vegeta Saga" was first discovered on these here forums. Though like I said in the corresponding topic, I'm more hoping for just a re-release of FUNi's 2-disc sets along with the first 13 episodes finally brought to the US. Though in the probable case that that doesn't happen, I''ll just go with the Madman releases. Last I checked, you could get up until the Baba stuff for a cool $100.

Heh, and good on you guys for finally getting into Avatar. I personally thought the series peaked at season two, but I still suggest that you guys finish up the series. It's just one more season to sit through, is all. Also, cool on Mr. Deluxe for being some kind of Fire Nation extra for the movie. Was kinda wondering why he was plugging the live action movie on vgconcos. Just thought it was more of his random nonsense. Guess there's some method to his nonsense on occasion :P.

You'd better use Ghost Nappa as the ending song for your TFS episode!

On the topic of the DB release, I actually didn't pick up any of the others, but now that I have a job, I may actually get the DB release, seeing as I never watched DB and my only real exposure to DB was the Manga Review of Awesomeness and I read the first 2 VIZBIGs (and bought the second, got the first from the library). I'm interested in getting it, even if it's "Dolled up like a whore widescreen" because I want to watch DB and I like widescreen for my iPhone. (I would of course PURCHASE the material and then convert it to mp4.)

Also, I just got into Avatar about a month ago, and since I was taking a trip to Chicago around the same time, I got to watch almost the entire series on the 5-hour trip there and the one back (that's about a season, plus rest stops, etc, so 1.5 seasons). I loved the series. "Temple o' Zuko" April Fools joke?

I heard that song on (I think) http://www.ocremix.org/ or some similar site a long time ago. It's very good.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I find it amusing that the curse of the live action movie still causes the podcast to crash when its spoken about.

I mean, I know that's not what caused it to actually crash, but the fact that the live action movie was what you were talking about when it did is kinda funny. XD

I honestly don't think its gonna get a sequel. For better or worse I just don't think it made enough cash for the execs to give it a green light.

YAY for future TFS stuff!

Avatar is fun. I haven't seen ALL the episodes; as I only watched it casually, but it is pretty good. :3

Would it be fair to assume that the license for the first 13 episodes of Dragonball is the same as the license for Movie 1? This isn't always the case so I thought I'd ask. There's a lot of talk about the first 13 episodes, but movie 1 barely rates a mention. Would it be likely that Funimation would even bother with a release, being that they're released their DB movie box with movies 2-4?

I haven't seen movie 1 myself yet. I'll order it from CD Japan sometime soon along with one of my next lots of singles, but I was curious as I know I would appreciate it more with subtitles :)

It wouldn't surprise me due to problems with the economy and other companies losing sub-licenses, FUNimation has probably gotten the rights back. But, until later we won't know for sure.

I'm also looking forward to the TeamFourStar guest starring episodes.

I also watched MasakoX's series, it is helpful. I've been doing internet Voice Acting for about 2 years now. Everything MasakoX said, does apply to it.

I love Avatar! I was so excited to hear you guys are watching it, haha. It's positively brilliant, especially if you are fascinated with Asian religion and philosophy as much as a I am!

I really hope the "Widescreen" is a typo, but, unfortunately, I know how marketing minds work: "The Dragon Ball Z season boxes--which are affordably priced, have a lot of episodes per volume, a low per episode cost, and are sold at Wal-Mart, the nation's largest department store chain--are selling really well. I'll bet it's because they're in Widescreen!"

I hope I'm wrong. I'll buy the DB boxes as soon as they come out if I'm wrong.

But I doubt I'm wrong :(
