Perhaps Treklin means dissection? It appears English is not his/her first language...
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I found it.

There it is.

His post on the other hand isn't really a review, a breakdown or a dissection.

It's packaging scans with some basic information.

I assume there's no way to get the Japanese credits?

Nope, they're not on this set.

I'm very impressed they kept the lossless 2.0 Japanese track from the Japanese BD.

Sadness for the Blurays not having individual sleeves for each discs. it seems pretty cheap to me to just stick a disc on each side of the inside of the case and have to booklet or anything to go with it. >.>

Yet the DVD copy is a mini boxset with two sleeves on the inside with more artwork than the Bluray copy.

If this is DBZKai in HD....why does the SD version get the better release?

Because DVD is still awesome.

I'm justifying getting it in Bluray because they made kai to be HD and awesome looking, so I'll have Kai in Bluray, then the rest of the series in 3 different forms of DVD.

It's worth it.
The lossless 5.1 dub track is great, except for Gohan and the Lossless 2.0 Japanese track is also exceptional. The image has fine detail which is missing from the reviewers screens. The only annoying thing is the titles cards are only in English which doesn't make sense seeing that the BD disc has plenty of space for branching.

I'll be honest, the Blu-ray version (which I have, so I'm not just pulling things out of thin air) doesn't look all that stellar. It looks no better than Dragon Box quality. Maybe it's because it's the beginning of the series, but I can't imagine DVD looking too much worse than this. It might all be in my head, but that's my opinion.

The Blu-ray menus destroy the DVD menus.
