I know some folks have been talking about this, so I might as well toss a thread together to get an idea of who's coming to the convention and we can expect to meet.

As you've probably seen, our "10 Things You Didn't Know About DragonBall" panel will be on Saturday, July 31st at 11 pm in Panel 6 (which is in the Hilton connected to the convention center). No doubt we can expect to see you all there... right?! ^_~

(If you're not attending the convention, please don't reply to let us know. We appreciate your support, but there's no real need to crowd up the thread with that information. Thanks!)

I'll be at the panel for sure, unless I'm still stuck in line for at-the-door registration come Saturday night. Kidding aside, I plan to be at the FUNimation panel on Friday evening as well.

Yup, I will be going too! I'm staying in the Radisson Plaza. For the first time ever I'm staying for the whole three days! I usually just stay Saturday and Sunday at these conventions but, It collides with my week off from work right after so... yea. I'll be at the FUNimation panel and Daizex panel.

Sadly, the Tanooki Mario shirt I usually wear to conventions is gone forever.

The FUNimation panel was kinda a let down for me. Nothing DragonBall related announced and I had to sit through trailers for stuff I have no interest in, except for Evangelion 2.22. That was the highlight for me.

Also, I'm pretty sure I stepped on Meri's water bottle, sorry about that. :\

We are all back home! Many stories (one of them is already up on my personal blog), photos, audio, and video to share. Here's one image I quickly grabbed on our way into the panel (is that Kaboom pulling a Mike and making a wacky face?) and one from Tanooki right before we got started:



If anyone else was there and has photos to share, by all means toss them up! I have a couple I took of the audience from up on stage, but those are on the regular camera and I still need to pull them off.

I have the complete audio recording of the panel, and our buddy Albert video recorded the entire thing. I am definitely going to do a fun ten-part series (one for each of the ten items that you "didn't know"). He's gotta send the footage off to me, and I'll be up in New York for Julian's wedding this coming weekend... so please be patient!

Definitely wanna hear (DB-related) stories and such from those of you at the con. Also, remind me who I met -- I was rocking a throat infection as-of Friday, and by the time the panel came around I was running on pure adrenaline from winning the AMV contest and excitement about the panel. I kinda blacked much of the events out of my memory. I know I signed someone's FUNimation/Pioneer DBZ Movie 1. I wrote "Whee!" on it. Meri is pretty sure she spelled "Piccolo" wrong for Velasa.

Congratulations on your AMV win! When will us country folk that live hundreds of miles away from Otakon get to see your video? BTW, get well soon.

I am *extremely* unhappy with the first chorus in our video, so we're going to clean that up a bit before we actually release it. We'll probably send it along to AWA's Expo contest, as well, so that gives us a hard deadline of a couple weeks to actually get it done . I'll write some more about that when we release the video and why I feel it's so weak as it stands right now, so more patience is requested .

The video's drama/serious and has nothing at all to do with DB, though... and I guess I should clarify that it won its CATEGORY, and not "Best In Show" or anything... but still... yay?!

Seriously, we need to have some kind of system to recognise each other. I was looking and looking around and the only person I met all weekend was Boomy for about a minute and a half.
