Still not great, due to the obi covering some of the art, but it's the best photo I've seen of these, for the moment.

Don't wanna be interdimensionally rude, but I'm lucky to have the first release, because the new green design is really crap.......
Big D and big B with red star between them..... Looks like 60's Soviet train advert/propaganda booklet

Not mentioning the green. As my profession is graphics and typography, some of these things are hurting me even more.

I don't get why everyone is so down on them. I like the new look, but it seems the color of the cover art is slightly different. Certainly 100x better than those ugly VIZBIGs or that awful Dragon Ball Z logo...

Btw, is this the version that ends with that adtional scene between Goku and Uub and Vegeta saying "I'm going to beat you yet ..."?

Nope, that's the kanzenban. You can see the kanzenban spine image at the bottom of this page. As far as I know the only thing different about these tankoubon re-releases are their covers.

Wow, that's the first time I've seen the spine art for the kanzenban. Weird that he chose to show Daimao , but then again he did say he was his favorite villain. Also LOL at Vegeta and his tricycle being last ....
