Piccolo Daimao vs. Tenshinhan (23rd Tenkaichi Budokai)

Tenshinhan was convinced he could beat Weighted Goku, who he stated had improved from when he defeated Piccolo Daimao in everything but his speed, which stayed the same while he had weights on. So, can he actually defeat Piccolo Daimao? (the first one, not the reincarnation obviously)

I would assume he was only a little bit inferior to Piccolo Daimao, after 3 years of training.
But there's the official power level given for Piccolo Daimao which is 260. Tenshinhan was at 250 in the Saiyan Arc, which is 7 years after Daimao.

I've always been of the opinion that Tenshinhan became stronger than Daimao before the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai due to the reasons you've stated.

Personally, I think Tenshinhan would have whopped Daimao's sorry deamon butt by the time the 23rd Budokai came around based on how he was able to keep up with Goku. I'm guessing that 250 number from the Saiyan arc was him at rest or something.

That's what I think too. Maybe Tenshinhan learned to suppress his Ki to a much smaller extent as well or something? The 250 number just weirds me out because 5 years before that he should at least have been at 275 (he was dominating a Goku who he stated was as fast as he was against Daimao.)

I guess he might've just stopped training and gotten weaker but that's so out of character that it's ridiculous.

Well, Tenshinhan's actually amazed that Son Goku managed to go so far above his power against Piccolo Daimao three years prior, which, to me, implies that he's possibly around Super Holy Water Goku's level (and thus, Young Piccolo Daimao too), since he's surprised at Goku's improvement, yet can still fight on even ground with him.

So Tenshinhan would probably win, but it would be by no means easy.

Actually,if i remember well,in the manga;Tenshinhan said Goku was way stronger than 3 years ago,however, his speed has not changed,therefore, it isn't hard to conclude that Tenshinhan would beat Piccolo Daimaoh.
