Story behind this Faulconer track?

This is very different from any other track from Faulconer Productions. I was wondering if anyone knew why this was made or what was the purpose behind it, and who wrote the lyrics. It's pretty damn good.

Holy Shit that's kinda creepy. Maybe Faulconer was bored....whatever it is very fitting.
Re: Story behind this Faulconer track?
All I know is what was written about it at the faulconer productions website. Apparently, Faulconer really likes #18...
Do not remember if the singer is the FUNi VA for #18.

Re: Story behind this Faulconer track?
The track comes from one of the American soundtrack CDs, Android 18 - The Android Sagas. The CD contained only 3 tracks- one, the song you linked, two, a remix of that song, and three, a 25-minute track consisting of tracks Faulconer composed for the show. Here's the cover for the soundtrack.
I want to say that it was over at Lovely Cyborg, before Maggie redesigned it, that I read some interesting tidbits about the CD. If I remember correctly, the girl on the CD cover is NOT Merideth McCoy (who was the VA for #18 at the time). That said, I do believe she is the one singing, which, interestingly enough, makes this one of the few, if only, image songs we FUNi dub fans actually have.

Re: Story behind this Faulconer track?
Bruce really liked the 17/18 theme:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hawi0DduXrI
and decided to make a whole CD based on it...and not even mention me in the credits
It was never for the show, just for the CD release.
Bruce has a doctorate in music...I think he liked the theme because it uses a...err...particular advanced composition technique. (I have a degree in music theory so I'm also interested in stuff like that)

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? Ain't it amazing how Krillin, the Charlie Brown of Dragon Ball, was able to snag the finnest piece of ass in all of Dragon Ball history? It's one of lifes mysteries.Gonstead wrote:Krillin is one lucky bastard.DarkPrince_92 wrote:Android 18= Perfect Sex Toy.dbboxkaifan wrote:Sounds like a porn song.

Their pairing is one of my favorites, it was loveless and empty...but a rare intentional one at that.

It is very disturbing that half those pictures are of his kid. I can't imagine he ever told #18 where he got the idea for his daughter's name.

So Falcouner basically examined every possible aspect of #18- the eerie hot villain-but-maybe not whose stronger than a Super Sayain?
5 stars for the insight. The more material there is to give #17/#18 credibility as the destroyers of their own kind, the better. F strikes me as the only other song of it's kind.
