Cell's cells in the anime

Post by DBZGTKOSDH » Wed Sep 26, 2012 11:05 am

Cell has (Saiyan arc) Goku's, (Saiyan arc) Vegeta's, (Saiyan arc) Piccolo's, Mecha Freeza's, King Cold's, and other lifeforms' cells in the manga. The anime however, added Kuririn's & Tenshinhan's cells as well.

Did the anime add any other's cells as well? Or it's just Kuririn & Tenshinhan?

Well, he should have Garlic Jr's cells, Uiro's, Tullece's, Slug's, and Coola's. Sadly, he didn't mention any of them. :| (please don't let this start a canon debate)

Pretty sure Nappa's cells are also in there.

I think he was implied to have Yamcha's as well.

Nah, Cell's not disappointing enough.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

When Cell used Kienzan on Goku (filler) Kuririn thought it was his Kienzan, and Yamcha thought he was controlling the discs like his Sokidan. However, it was Freeza's Kienzan. Though in the anime, Cell did use Kuririn's Kienzan on Gohan (they were big & yellow). He also used Tenshinhan's Shishin no Ken against Goku, and one of the Cell Jr.s used Kikoho. I don't remember him using or mentioning anything about Raditz or Nappa though.

I thinks they kind of imply he has the entire cast's cells, at least in the anime version.

Acutally I am sure Cell had Yamcha's cells even if it was not said.
It's Bulma's pre-Dragonball ex-boyfriends who are too dissapointing to get their DNA taken from Cell (being non-Martial Artists unlike Yamcha and Vegeta).
Wishes she can change her name to YamchaFan (her name everywhere else)
Obssessed with the Earthlings and the original DB anime

Okay...? :|

On a serious note, I don't think Cell has any because he never used any of Yamcha's techniques (anime or manga). I'm sure he has Freeza cells because of he used Freeza's Death Saucer and has the same bad sense of time (anime-only).

EDIT: Second thought, I do think Cell has Yamcha's cells because of that certain punch he used against Gohan.

Fun fact:

Having watched the entire Cell arc in Japanese within the last year, I was surprised to notice there is no mention of him having any cells besides Piccolo, Goku, Vegeta, Freeza and King Cold until that one filler episode in the Cell Games. And no mention of it after.

So the anime does add other characters to the mix, but only once. Kind of.

I don't think he would have any of those cells given that there movies don't fit anywhere in the timeline of the anime.

Cell has Yamcha's cells because he loses a tournament.

Nah, Cell won the 2 rounds out of 3. If he had Yamcha's cells, then it would be a huge plot hole.
