What could the Z fighters work as?

I was thinking this just now and I believe it might be a funny discussion.

We saw Goku working as a farmer in the 2008 which I believe is quite acceptable as Roshi trained them to tilt the land with their hands. He could have been construction worker too but I don't think he would have liked to stay on noisy place like a construction site.

There was a fanfic I read a while ago where Goku was working as a stunt double because he was near indestructible. Good choice.

For Vegeta... well, I read a comic on deviantart where Bulma teaches Vegeta about stocks and he becomes the best stock broker for Capsule Corp due his competitive nature. Pure genius I say.


What else do you think they could work as?

Any physical job would be easy. Demolition would be good as they can just use their ki. Also, they would dominate as Police officers or soldiers.

Not to mention, athletics or any kind of pro sport.

Pretty much any physical job. Bodybuilding, construction work, baseball, boxing, sprinting, military, police...

Heck, it makes you wonder why Kuririn didn't just do something like that to get rich and get the girls, rather than continuing to bum around with a horny old man at Kame House, even when he got a wife and daughter. Or Yamcha, who wouldn't have to tolerate Blooma's bullshit if becoming the world's greatest baseball player would get him everything he ever wanted. Money, marriage, girls...everything.

I think Goku working as a farmer makes plenty of sense. I can't see a more fitting job (or at least real one) for him.

Yamcha was actually a pro Baseball player in the Anime. Off the top of my head, he and Trunks (during GT) are the only Z-Fighters to be seen with a job at any point.

I can't see him handling anything fast-paced, he's too Goku for almost any other type of job.

When they had that Jump Stage Show where Bulma was going to have Goku act as a Capsule Corp tour guide....I can't imagine Goku in any sort of service job without Vegeta consistently popping in for the personal enjoyment of having Goku wait on him. In fact, I can imagine Vegeta hiring Goku to wait on him (and paying him with Bulma's money I guess?) but who knows how long that would last.

I think Vegeta would become a nomad like Tenshinhan before he'd get a job; he doesn't take orders from anybody.

Vegeta and Gohan were, as well, if I recall correctly. I'm sure Gohan was shown eating just as much as his father at the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai.

On topic:

I'd see Goku and Chi-Chi both as farmers, though Goku would do most of the work.
Vegeta wouldn't have to work, as Bulma's rich, so he'd basically be a boy-toy.

I never really understood why he decided to stay there with his family, when he knows how Master Roshi can be.. They could easily build a house somewhere.
