I never listened to this before! It has such a nice 80's Dragon Ball feel to it! I love it!

Because it's the one and only ending theme to Dragon Ball for all 153 episodes. I'm shocked if you haven't heard it before.

IIRC releases based on French had shorter version of the opening instead of this.

Personally I'm more partial to the English version.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

Can't imagine the original DragonBall without it.

Well, I've only followed this part of the story in manga form so I'm not too familiar with the anime of Dragon Ball besides the english dub. I'm sure I heard this before but it's been so long it probably didn't even cross my mind. Dammit, I got to get those blue bricks, I need to re watch all of Dragon Ball!

I've been saying that, but it's still unknown. Eh, I'll end up buying the Dragon Boxes regardless of me buying the blue bricks. :)

I went and bought all the two-disc sets, so I know how you feel. But actually, it's just the cool kids who double dip. You wanna be a cool kid, right? Haha.

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Might just be the YouTube quality. Or the fact that it's been decompressed several times by this point. Or maybe the original single had better sound? Seems kinda backwards, though. Usually the newer releases sound better. Like how the Hit Song Collections were remastered (though, I've never compared the two).
