How powerful is Karin?

How powerful is Karin? In the very early part of the series, he seems like a very powerful fighter, with great speed. One of his titles is apparently the "God of Martial Arts." How would Karin measure up against the other fighters from the early portion of Dragon Ball? Is Karin ever shown manipulating ki? I do recall him floating in the hospital where Goku is recovering after his fight with Vegeta, so I assume he knows bukujutsu.

When Goku revisits him in the Piccolo arc, Karin says Goku is already stronger than him and that he has nothing more to teach Goku. Which kind of makes it sound like Goku hadn't already surpassed him back in the RR arc, especially since Goku seems to think he has a lot more to learn from Karin and is surprised to find this isn't so. Probably Goku surpassed Karin during his 3 years of training for the tournament, putting Karin somewhere between Goku's strength when fighting Tao Pai Pai and Goku's strength at the 22nd TB. Though that Weekly Jump foldout poster puts his BP at 190, slightly higher than Goku at the 22nd TB.

I don't think we ever see him use ki techniques outside of Bukujutsu like you mentioned. I want to see him use a Nekohameha...

Doesn't he say that he is almost stronger than himself?

Karin: “Unfortunately…There’s nothing more for me to teach you…[ ] Yeah…I understand how you feel, but…You’ve already acquired enough power to surpass even me”…
Note: Previously, I had mistakenly put that Goku had almost gotten more power than Karin, due to carelessly mistaking mou sude ni/"already" for mou sugu ni/"almost"/"very soon". Sorry about that.
