Krillin(Buu Saga) vs Freeza
How far do you think he'll get? I think he gets passed his second form but his third form would be just too much.

I could see him putting up an admirable fight against 1st-Form Freeza... someday.

Re: Krillin(Buu Saga) vs Freeza
This, basically. Kuririn trained alone for the three years before #19 and #20 showed up, so he wouldn't have gained nearly as much as he could have.Kaboom wrote:I could see him putting up an admirable fight against 1st-Form Freeza... someday.
Let's see here... Training for one year *under Kami* gained Kuririn a grand total of... an ~800-point increase. So, if you were going to be REALLY generous and give Kuririn a total of 100,000 by the end of the Freeza saga, and then give him three years gaining 800 in battle power each year (which is also generous, if you ask me), he'd have... 102,400. Which, no matter how you look at it, isn't going to stack up against Freeza, even in his first form.
After this, he gave up fighting. So, he'd been at even more of a disadvantage after seven years of complacency. Unless Kuririn suddenly started fighting intelligently (ie, Taiyoken + Kienzan combo), he'd get smacked down just as easily.
Unless you're counting anime logic, which would say yes.

The 500,000 range is somewhere I don't see any of the human ever reaching frankly.

I don't see any of the humans cracking a million.
Freeza would still kill him in his first form..

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Taiyou-ken + Kienzan: Kuririn takes this.

I'm thinking the only way a human could reach that range is if they died, kept their body in the afterlife, and trained for hundreds of years non-stop.dprez wrote:The 500,000 range is somewhere I don't see any of the human ever reaching frankly.

Re: Krillin(Buu Saga) vs Freeza
Wouldn't Olivu be a good example? He's a regular human who's reached some sort of crazy, high-above-Freeza level of power... after dying and training in the afterlife for several millennia.

Why does everyone think Krillin is that weak? He doesn't display signs of being that weak.

Re: Krillin(Buu Saga) vs Freeza
I figure'd he kill first-form Freeza with little effort, beat second-form Freeza (though it would at least be a fight this time and not a complete ass-whupping like with first-form Freeza) and maybe be able to handle third-form Freeza depending on exactly how strong he is at that point (did he get stronger at all after Cell saga, or did he stay the same or even get weaker due to lack of training like Gohan did?)
I've always imagined all three of the main human fighters (yes, even wimpy ol' Yamcha) being at least at 1,000,000 by the time the Androids show up... obviously not powerful enough to fight any of the Androids head-to-head (Yamcha's just too weak in both ki and physical strength/techniques, and Krillin and Tenshinhan both rely too heavily on ki attacks that #19 and #20 can just absorb...), but not so weak that they'd be absolutely useless if they came across enemies who were only "Base Saiyan level" rather than "low-end Super Saiyan level." I don't think Krillin or Yamcha got much stronger (if they got stronger at all) after the Cell saga, and I don't think any of them ever surpassed or matched even 50% of Freeza's true form's power (though Krillin and Tenshinhan at least could both kill him with a good Kienzan/Kikoho hit), but I do think they got strong enough that they could at least put up a fight against any of his suppressed forms, and probably kick his ass if he was dumb enough to stick to only his first or second.
The idea that none of the humans ever break into even the single-digit millions is completely absurd, honestly. I can't understand why it ever caught on the way it has around here. It's especially absurd when I see power-level lists that have the Saiyans hitting final-form-Freeza levels or beyond in base and high billions or even trillions in various Super Saiyan forms, and yet Krillin and Tenshinhan are STILL stuck in the 300,000-to-500,000 range. The only time I could understand keeping them that low would be if you were going by the old mistranslation that had Goku and Freeza at 15,000,000 and 12,000,000...

I don't get why you made an entire thread about it when you could have just posted in the versus thread.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

This is more of an evaluation of Krillin's strength. The title doesn't seem like it but I figured Freeza was a good comparison.DBZAOTA482 wrote:I don't get why you made an entire thread about it when you could have just posted in the versus thread.

Shoot, I just noticed that. Yeah, it's okay for now, but try not to make a habit of "Versus" threads outside of the main topic for them.DBZAOTA482 wrote:I don't get why you made an entire thread about it when you could have just posted in the versus thread.
