I remember this (or something very close along the lines of it) being a well-known translation of what Piccolo muttered after Gokuu demonstrated his Super Saiya-Jin transformation in front of the androids 19 and 20. What do you think about this? Is it totally wrong? If not, could the oddity of Piccolo somehow knowing Gokuu's SSJ ki on Namek be explained? Could it imply that Gokuu's SSJ strength did not increase much, if at all, from three years of training?

I don't remember a line like that. Piccolo just said that Goku was amazing, but should have been much more amazing than he was demonstrating.

My bad. I was referring to the line about his ki being the same as it was on Namek.

Unless it's in the anime, I don't think there's any line even close to that.

I'm not sure, but, I specifically even remember there being a discussion about on here a long time ago, and that it was what Piccolo specifically said after Gokuu transformed.

He never makes a comparison of Goku's strength to what it was when he was on Namek. All his comments about Goku's strength were as follows.
