Request - multi quote function

Post by Hades » Tue Jun 11, 2013 3:18 am

I was wondering if Kanzenshuu would allow you to quote multiple posts in a response.

Hey, a lv.100 Charizard vs a wild lv.4 Caterpie. It happens.

It's already possible if you just type it out yourself. People already have problems using the button to quote someone and not breaking their posts; I worry for the safety of our future children what would happen if a magic button appeared to let them do more than one without understanding the underlying code...!

Actually, you don't even have to type it out yourself. When you're on the "Post A Reply" page all of the previous posts are listed below. If you click the quote button it will insert that post into your reply. I don't think it can get much easier than that.

I used to do Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V combinations to put multiple quotes together, then answer to each one of them. Funny how I didn't know about the thing Hujio mentioned, although I've been discussing (administrating, even) in phpBB3 boards for quite a while now. It's true that this feature is not very obvious. A multi-quote feature similar to the ones in more advanced forum software would be nice, but not necessary.
