What's official? From the clips you provided the dub seems really bad, is that what you're getting at? The voices don't match the lip flaps most of the time, that's terrible.

That's what I'm saying. It was an official dub (I've seen TVRip versions of it). I made it clear because I thought that it would be hard to believe (I didn't believe it at first).

If we believe all the other crappy dubs are official then we believe this one is. Not that hard to believe since DB-DBZ-GT is FILLED with horrible dubs. Besides the lip sync. There is WORST dubs than this.

I don't think there are worse dubs than this. I mean, there are dubs with very few voice actors (in Greece, there are only 4), while some others have script problems (French, Portuguese, Spanish and three or four more), and a few of them are not even dubs, but voice-overs (for example, Polish and Romanian) but this the worst by far.

I mean, they could have just done a voice-over version with just one or two actors, but they "tried" to do a dub while not paying the slightest attention to lyp-synching.

As some whose native language is Serbian, I find these horridly funny. Mostly because they sound as if they were recorded somewhere in a dark cabin with a toy microphone.

Did you watch DB with this dub? I'm curious about what the reaction was among the Serbian audience.

Agreed. The only dub that can compete this one in that level of horribleness is the Turkish dub of Dragonball, which was done with the Serbian's dub style. But still, the Serbian one wins the record for the worst db/dbz dub ever.

No, I didn't and thus I can't really tell you what the audience would think on the whole. Other than these short clips you have posted, I've mainly just seen a couple of episodes from the Freezer arc, specifically when Son Goku is battling him. Google "Zmajeva Kugla" if you're interested to find more.

Were those episodes also dubbed originally? I thought that they had only received the redub (which is really nice IMO: the actors sound good and there is lip-synching).

The original dub was cancelled at the beginning of the Freeza arc, so what you're talking about must be the new dub which is far better. I heard that the older dub had more faithful scripts, though.

IMO, scripts are a better thing to sacrifice than lip-synching.

Ah, I took it as like, more the figure of speech. You know like when someone says "well, it's official...".

Ah thanks for the links. I like the second much better. The first one sounds like a parody as if the actors didn't even try to be serious or professional.

Old Serbian dub Vegeta sounds like Homer Simpson when he whispers his thoughts out loud.
