Fateful Brothers
Sparking!! Neo/Budokai Tenkaichi 2 had some very interesting What-Ifs, this thread's namesake perhaps being the most notable of the lot. I've always found this one to be a particularly interesting concept, but I can't help but feel that it's a little on the corny side. Of course, this might be due to the execution of the dialogue (both the writing and the delivery) and I've never seen actually seen or played through it in Japanese.
What do you guys think of it? Here's a play-through of it for reference:

Re: Fateful Brothers
Tenkaichi 2's Story Mode is my favorite of them all since I love to go through the whole Story as many times as possible. It had everything they could add at the time and those What ifs, which were better than the ones we got in Tenkaichi 3 IMO.
Fateful brothers was a nice change of pace and the most memorable of the bunch. There were 3 What ifs, right? The one where Zarbon betrays Frieza, Fateful Brothers and the Buu arc What if.

Raditz and Zarbon getting actual character development and spotlight. Bravo, Spike
I enjoyed and had fun with both of these. I played this game spoiler-free, so I never expected anything sudden like that bar the normal Story.

Yeah I agree the game had some great "What-Ifs." It's especially appealing considering that Raditz only lasted a few chapters before getting the shaft.

Re: Fateful Brothers
It's one of the several reasons why I like Tenkaichi 2 more than 3.

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Re: Fateful Brothers
Fateful Brothers affected me more than it should have. Darn scenario is virtually poetic for Dragon Ball. I don't remember Zarbon's story being all that much, I'll have to run through it again.
