Underrated: Kuririn

People just can't accept he's the strongest human in the series. They always vouch for Tenshinhan instead. Chi-Chi is pretty close cuz of how many think Videl is stronger despite the many facts proving otherwise. Some people think even Mr. Satan is stronger.

His fanboys think he's god but his equally passionate haters say he's even weaker than Suppressed Cell.

I strongly agree the kids are underrated and strongly agree that Tenshinhan is overrated, but people overrate Videl? How so? Like Beginning of DB Goku level or something?

I've seen people equate Videl with Namu or Chappa.

What's overrated about Gohan? O_O. He has a pretty clear and explicit power level.

Ultimate Gohan is more underrated than overrated imo (which usually stems from underrating Gotenks).

Don't get me wrong, Gohan is powerful. But people take it to a whole new level than it actually is (IMO).

Another thing, who the hell overrates Kaioshin? This is news to me.

I've never seen Ultimate Gohan overrated in power. The only time I've seen it is people who say he was equal to Bootenks, but lost due to mind games. But that claim is pretty rare.

Well, I guess I've seen U. Gohan overrated in that some people thought that was purely his base form, and he could still get the same boost from turning Super Saiyan. That and saying he's Bootenks' equal is it though.

Kaioshin I don't think I've ever seen be overrated by someone. Kibitoshin, yes. I've seen him compared to Bootenks.

To be fair, you can ask that of Gotenks and Gohan as well.

I've seen people interpret this line:

Chapter: 501 (DBZ 307), P11.2-4
Context: right after Kaioshin and Kibito merge
Kaioshin: “Oooh! Am-amazing! This is amazing power! Hahaah! [ ] Goku! I can fight too like this! I’ll go with you!”
Elder Kaioshin: “Don’t get carried away! No matter how strong you’ve become, you were never anything special. I doubt you could fight Boo head-on; you’d just end up getting absorbed. So stay here.”

As both meaning Bootenks would need absorption against him and why he didn't contribute in any of the other fights. To be fair, it does sound like his power is actually relevant at the time. But it'd be ridiculous to leave someone that strong behind.

It could just be him excited by his power. I never saw it as a power statement as Old Kaioshin quickly shoots down that sentiment and tells him he's still fodder.

They still got revived, though. Could've done that at nearly any time.

I think it's partly the way Old Kaioshin shoots him down - he doesn't say Kaioshin is too weak, but that despite his strength he's just nothing special. It really sounds like Old Kaioshin is saying that Kibitoshin has become quite strong, but not a good enough fighter to be of use.

What I'm saying is initially. Like at the beginning of the Kid Buu fight Kibitoshin leaves. By the time Gohan and Gotenks were revived, Vegeta had already decided it was up to the Earthlings to help themselves this time.

Looking at the context of the scene, and the way he words it

Elder Kaioshin: “Don’t get carried away! No matter how strong you’ve become, you were never anything special. I doubt you could fight Boo head-on; you’d just end up getting absorbed. So stay here.”

It makes it seem like

Elder Kaioshin: "You're still fodder, you always were, don't even bother going."

I guess I could see why people would think he's strong from that, though.
