Stupid things about DB you used to believe

Back when I was little, I used to believe that Akira Toriyama made ALL of the DB/Z/GT Anime himself, every drawing of animation, I also thought Kikuchi played the entire score by himself XD (I thought he recorded each instrument by separate).

I also thought that Goku survived Namek because he hid on a cave... (Of course! that would protect him from the planet's explosion).

Alongside the AF crap, I used to truly believe there was a saga after buu were he went evil and killed Trunks, then he became good again, and in the final battle he charged a kamehameha with one hand and a Genkidama with the other, the blast could be seen in all the universe... someone told me this, and I even got angry at people if they told me otherwise. XD

Also, I thought Lunch was Roshi's Girlfriend, and someone had tricked me into believe Raditz lived in Kame house's basement until Z XD

It was the Latin dub, though that was intentional since she's really young looking and Bulma's shown yelling at her a lot.

Back when DBZ first started in New Zealand, and the first time I really got into it.. I used to download really small clips from various filesharing software and websites.. these clips would be in Japanese with what I now know as 'Fansubs'.

One of the first clips I ever downloaded was of Frieza cut in half, screaming up at Goku saying "nothing but a fucking monkey!". I used to think the Japanese version must have been like that all the time, with the swearing targeting adult audiences rather than children.

I'm sure there are a ton of things, but the only one I vividly remember is someone explaining further story bits to me, and somehow they (or maybe just me) misunderstood something, and thought that after Cell, Majin Boo was also one of Dr. Gero's creations. So basically the entire last half of the series was all because of Dr. Gero. Yeah...

Someone had convinced me that getting to level 10 on Legacy of Goku would let you become a Super Saiyan (This was before I got the game). I spent what seemed like a week grinding and killing snakes and wolves (and that one big dinosaur) prior to fighting Raditz only to be hugely disappointed when it didn't happen.

The consolation was that Raditz became incredibly easy to kill.

Oh god....It's not entirely tied to DBZ but it was part of it. When I was young I used to think DBZ, Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing were the first anime ever created. Sooner or later I discovered otherwise (Thanks Dragon Ball & Saint Seiya!) but yeah.

In budokai 2 you could send Ultimate attacks right back at people if you twirled the analog stick enough to beat your opponent. Boy was I disappointed when I found out you only reduce damage.
