What is your favorite final battle from the series?

This can include any final battle from DB, DBZ, GT, filler sagas, or the movies. What do I mean by final battles? One of these:

Well I find myself watching the Goku vs Beerus fight on YouTube often, that's one of my favourites due to the animation and pacing.

In the manga I'd say Goku vs Frieza but the anime just dragged that out way too much so in the anime I suppose Gohan vs Cell because I thought the Kamehameha clash was the best scene in the anime.

For me it's a toss up between Goku vs Vegeta in the Saiyan saga and Goku vs Turles. The Goku vs Super 17 fight was also pretty entertaining.

The battle against Yi Xing Long because it really conveyed that sense of total despair very well. They tried everything they could and still didn't have the slightest chance. Also their families were right at ground zero so to speak and had to watch everything from so close, so close in fact that even they were target of Yi Xing Long's reckless attacks. I like it because it really just feels final.

Goku Vs Freeza. I enjoyed the battle overall, but liked it more than the Super Saiyan part of the battle.

It's a toss-up between Gohan vs. Perfect Cell and Goku vs. Tenshinhan for me.

Gohan vs. Perfect Cell because of the build-up to the final battle against Perfect Cell during the Cell arc and the build-up to the Kamehameha struggle at the end of the actual fight between Gohan and Perfect Cell. Also, I get to see my favorite character defeat the main bad guy for once instead of Goku (even if he assisted Gohan in a way).

Goku vs. Tenshinhan because of the choreography. Of all the "final battles" in the series, I think Goku vs. Tenshinhan fight is the most entertaining because of the techniques they use during that fight. Also, Goku doesn't win that fight, which I thought was interesting the first time I saw it.

I swear, I don't hate Goku. I think it's just nice to see someone other than him save the day once in a while.

Gohan vs. Cell easily takes the cake in my opinion, mainly because it's not just Gohan's battle and everyone has a purpose. Yamacha may not have been the strongest for example, but he still gave it his all and so did the other fighters. The whole scene always gives me the chills, specifically with the Faulconer score.

It's hard to choose, so many great battles...These are my top 3:
- Goku vs King Piccolo
- Goku, Gohan, Krillin, and Yajirobe vs Vegeta
- Goku vs Freeza

All 3 were my favorite at some point. If I have to choose only 1...Goku vs Freeza, probably cause of the hype I've got for the upcoming movie.

I'd have to go with Son Gokū vs. Piccolo-daimaō. It was Gokū's first real life-or-death, fate-of-the-Earth battle, and it showed, in my opinion, both his devotion to his friends/allies (his refusal to attack at the cost of Tenshinhan's life) and his ability to overcome near-impossible odds by firing a one-handed Kamehameha into the ground and finishing the daimaō with the 'Tsuranuke!' technique.

Second would have to be Gokū vs. Piccolo Junior, because, even in what was basically the rematch with Piccolo-daimaō, who, this time, ensured Gokū's defeat by immobilizing all of his limbs, rather than leaving him with one functioning arm, which Gokū still managed to overcome.

Those two battles (along with the battle with Raditz and the battle with Vegeta, to a lesser extent) really solidified, in my mind, Gokū's ability to accomplish the impossible in the face of opponents that, sometimes as a result of dirty tactics, he just can't defeat...by defeating them anyway.

I like the Goku and co. vs. Vegeta fight. It was one of the best examples of teamwork in the series, with each character being important in Vegeta's defeat, and had a rather nice mix of both martial arts and ki blasts.

Goku vs Beerus... It's just so damn good!! I was in awe when the two of them were unloading furious punches while ripping through clouds at an incredible speed with "Hero" from Flow playing in the background. Fucking amazing fight.

Definitely Goku vs Vegeta.

That battle showed that Toriyama wasn't going by the rules and was willing to do whatever it takes to keep the story interesting and unpredictable.

The most iconic and significant battle in Dragon Ball history.

Nothing tops it. But Goku vs Vegeta and Goku vs Piccolo Jr come close.

Goku vs Freeza is definitely the most epic and grand finale' esque battle but it was all over the place, went far too long and wasn't choreographed that well.

I love all of the fights but if I had to pick one it would be Freeza because it seems more epic and grand than the other fights do. Also it's the introduction of Super Saiyan, giving it more points.
