What year was Beerus supposed to wake up?

Apparently, a 39 year sleep is actually early for him. Had he not get the idea of SSJG, when was he supposed to wake up?

In BoG Whis says Beerus had intentionally set his alarm bombs to go off at that time (even though Beerus himself had forgot he did this), because there was something he wanted to check out. It turns out that this "something" was the Oracle Fish's prediction of a challenging opponent for him to fight (which turns out to be Super Saiyan God, of course). So, that time at least, he was supposed to wake up after only 39 years. But according to the guides, he normally sleeps for decades or even centuries, so 39 years isn't that long of a sleep for him.

Why is it that I have 50 years in my head about this question? A dub line perhaps?

Oh... and one reason why I'm asking is because Beerus should have woken up, if he set his alarm for 39 years, 8 years before Future Trunks even travels back to the past. Where the heck did Beerus go?

Well if 39 years is a nap or undergoing it. I think 70 years would be normal time for him

He did say: (in the ENG dub at least)
"To count as a truly restful slumber i need to get at least 50 years"(or almost exactly like that)

I guess that 1 year in Beerus' mind could work like 1 minute in our terms. If I sleep for 2 minutes or so I would wake up bored also.
