Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
As we know Bulma changed her look more times than any other character in the series. What are some of your favorite Bulma designs/looks? My favorite was probably this one:
Very standard almost 80's look, she had a similar style during the Garlic Jr. saga.
Also teenage Bulma was amazing around the middle of the Red Ribbon army saga:
Early motherhood Bulma also had a nice look to make it look like she matured:
My least favorite is that afro hair style she had when Cyborg Frieza and King Cold came to Earth. Thank god that hair style was short lived.
I always liked that fro Bulma had, when Freeza arrived on Earth. Her hairstyle, when she went with Mr. Popo to see Kami's spaceship was also good. Both of them stick out in a good way. Though my favourite is her hairstyle on Namek, it's nice and simple.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
Bulma's had some great hair of the years. In fact, I was just thinking of making a similar thread to this. My favorite would probably have to be this one:
Big hair is always fab.
Runner-up:
I really wish this one was around longer.
Honorable mention:
Because it looks like my hair does in a ponytail.
Most Dragon Ball fans are incapable of making a logically sound argument.
Majin Boo arc Bulma for me. She just knows how to rock short hair.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I've always been most fond of her Path to Power design, which is rarely talked about:

"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super
I, too, was thinking about this recently because I absolutely loved her look in Resurrection F. Honestly, it's probably my favorite look for Bulma so far. I love the hair and the outfit is great too, especially the scarf(bandana?) around her neck.
I actually prefer shorter hair on girls for some reason so I'm gonna go with the Cell arc Bulma and the Resurrection F Bulma. Oddly enough, I'm not really a fan of the Boo arc Bulma... I guess I just don't like bowl cuts...
Anyone else find it interesting they went with Toriyama's blue hair colour for Bulma in RoF, rather than her usual teal/cyan one as seen in the anime?
Now that you mentioned it, Bulma's been quite blue lately.

I like the unkempt/sort of poofy straight long hair look too. Also, she had a great outfit on the day Future Trunks left earth -- long sleeve, sort of soft look.
Pulled back braid from the Pilaf arc/Chapter 1 and the side-tail she rocks in the Red Ribbon arc. I associate those with the brattier, funnier Bulma before she gets pushed to the wayside.
