Is it wrong I hate most of the fandom?

....Or at least a very specific group of them. They're some of the most ignorant, biased, and close-minded I've ever came across.

Can any of y'all feel me?

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Not really, I can safely say most fandoms suck on a large scale with comics, 80s stuff and Star Wars being the worst offenders. Power Rangers is the only one I've found where the US versions fans know it's dumb fun and don't pretend it's high art or get pissy about it in general. I've heard the Sonic fandom is pretty hostile but I barely ever interact with it.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I really feel you. Surfing trough YouTube comments almost makes me embarassed for liking this show. It's not just Dragon Ball either... But hey, maybe I'm just an ass.

Curious why you're posting the same thing up in different places, particularly if you hate most of them.

Actually the Power Rangers fandom can be quite toxic and hostile, specially towards the Super Sentai fans. I remember last year (Maybe the year before.) when it was announced for Lexington Comic & Toy Con, they got the 3 actors from Zyuranger (The series adapted into the original MMPR.) who played Mammoth Ranger, Tiger Ranger and Ptera Ranger as guests. Quite a few PR fans joked and not so joked about phoning in bomb threats to get the panel cancelled just to and I quote "See those stupid sentai fans cry because they couldn't see the actors from their shitty shows." end quote. All fandoms sadly have a toxic fun ruining element it seems. :(

On topic! It's not wrong...there are some very undesirable parts of the fandom, even here on Kanzenshuu. Don't get me wrong it's great here, possibly the best place you can discuss Dragon Ball and such. but that toxic element seeps in here sometimes...least we have a dedicated moderation team that does their best to handle it! But in the end there are just parts of the fandom that drive me so far up the wall that I wanna smash the wall so they can't drive me any further up it! But you learn to ignore it...let it become white noise in the background. Is it wrong? No, is it wrong to sign them all off and walk away? Kinda. As the saying goes, a few bad apples spoil the bunch.
Going on hiatus. Too much stuff in RL to deal with for me to keep up with posts here for now. Was fun, hope you all have a nice day and future! Volt signing off.

Most of the DBZ fandom on the web is pretty bad and DBZ wankers give the series a bad name. I have met and talk more causal fans in real life who are better then most of the fans that I see on the web.

Yeah, the ones who think the DBZ cast are the strongest and the ones who shame people for liking the dark side of DBZ and the "unofficial" rock soundtrack for the movies are the most annoying.

This fandom like many others has a few bad apples in the bunch, the DB fandom can be very toxic at times but I just try my very best to ignore it all even though some stuff does slip through the cracks from time to time. Even on a great place like Kanzenshuu there are some threads I wouldn't touch with a 1000 foot pole. I just keep my distance to save myself from future trouble. I'm surprised at how well I'm doing staying away from the YouTube comment section, haven't been to that dark place in what feels like forever. I've been apart of this fandom for a long time and I know the groups that grind my gears the most. I just stay far, far away form them. I don't bother them and I pray they don't bother me. But no matter how hard I pray sometimes they just seem to fall on deaf ears... Just gotta move along.

There are other fandoms to other series I've watched that have horrified me into never wanting even start participating, so I kind of understand the dislike.

Unfortunately when you got a big franchise, the big # of fans makes the community difverse, which is good for some cases like having people of different countries, genders, preferences, ect but there's always gonna be bad apples in fandoms, not just dragon ball. Just ignore the trolls, I think a lot of people (especially on youtube) just band wagon hate.

If you like any filler you're a "fake fan"

If you don't think Mystic Gohan>everyone you're automatically "stupid" or some offense terms I won't use here.

Either they're trolling and want you annoyed or they actually have these disrespectful biased rude opinions. Either way, you don't need people like that in your life. They're not worth your time so ignore em.

I think Super Vegeta>Super Trunks. Last night my friend disagrees and we debated about it, couldn't end up agreeing so we agreed to disagree. That's how it should be, when someone acts all immature and insult you or throws a hissy fit there's only 2 things left to do. Waste time arguing or don't give the jerk(s) anymore of your time and go do something else.

I'll never force someone to have the same opinion on GT as me, however don't go bashing it in front of it's fans. You're being a devil's advocate. That'll never end though so simply ignore it when you see a devil's advocate. (Someone who tries instigating a argument/fight.)
Any post before 8/7/2016 isn't mine. This account was a gift from someone who thought the account was already banned. Saved me the trouble of making a new one haha XD

I love DB/DBZ/DBGT/DBZK/DBS (If I didn't why would I be here? XD)

Don't you dare say you enjoy Super (or GT) outside of this forum or else you're gonna be crucified on the spot. All fandoms have their downsides but I guess you just gotta ignore the particular groups you don't like.

I think most fandoms are not that aggressive even if you say "It sucks".
Most likely will just say how can you not like this? and they'll think your an idiot because you don't like what they do and they'll just drop the subject.
Saying one is better than the other is usually what starts a war,
I know the Goku V.S Superman is a touchy subject between the two fan-bases.
It's like WW3 up in there

People are vocal about their dislike for Super outside of here? Honestly, I haven't seen many negative opinions outside of what I usually spew. But then, I never check.

Really? Damn, that's a shame to hear. Most of the people I talk to about PR are pretty cool about it but I guess I just got lucky there.

I usually get far more negative reactions to when I say I dislike Super than I ever have for the few times I said I liked it. In fact, Super is getting more love than anything else outside of here from my experience. Though this forum is the only place where I've been able to have any kind of discussion with anyone as to why I dislike it. Usually on YT it's just "Lol you're a hater and none of that opinion bullshit!" then they immediately f*ck off whenever it comes to actually trying to counter argue any of my points.

I've also noticed people defending Super outside of here because "it's made by Toriyama, unlike that GT garbage."

On Youtube, I find it that there's a reasonably positive reaction of Super, but even still there's a lot of hate, just check out one of Faulconer's songs or click on a famous fight and scroll down the comments. Outside of Youtube and Kanzenshuu, there are plenty of websites with a pretty negative reaction of Super. MyAnimeList and 4chan despise it, for instance. Reddit seems to dislike it somewhat as well, but don't quote me on that because I'm not very active over there.
