Strongest humans?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Strongest humans?

Post by apex_pretador » Thu Feb 11, 2016 8:59 am

Who do you think are top 15 strongest humans in the series (obviously only those shown in series)
(Not including cyborgs & mutaito)
Here's my list :

1. Krillin (the strongest human till CG atleast)

2. Tien (possibly close to krillin at CG , & might've surpassed him by DBS, who knows)

3. Yamcha (unbelievably strong for being yamcha)

4. Chiaotzu (trained with king kai , beat guldo in filler)

5. Yajirobe (Surpassed kami by a good deal)

6. Master roshi (the former strongest human, maybe above yajirobe by RoF)

7. Crane hermit (Roshi's rival)

8. Tao pai pai (world's deadliest assasin)

9. Chi-chi (goku's wife, could be stronger than roshi)

10. Grandpa Gohan (dead, gave goku trouble)

11. King chappa (won the TB untouched , trained & improved)

12. Bora (tao called him trained & used hands on him)

13. General blue (dead , beat 21st TB krillin easily)

14. Nam

15. General white ??? (I feel white is stronger, but gyumao may be stronger than him as well)

Did I miss someone? Your list?

1. Tenshinhan ( trained with Kaio, Kami, for the battle against the androids, stopped Cell with Kikoho, tried his best against Buutenks, great arsenal of techniques )

2. Kuririn ( almost as strong as Tenshinhan. Some great techniques )

3. Yamcha ( Trained with Kaio, Kami, for the battle against the androids, awesome arsenal of techniques - wolf gang fist, spirit bomb, kamehameha. Bonus: cool hair, badass scar, Yamcha rocks )

4. Chiaotzu ( Trained with Kaio, Kami, trained for the battle against the androids altough the protective Ten decided to leave him behind, evaded Super Buu's mass attack, telekenis expert )

5. Muten Roshi ( can manipulate KI better than Yajirobe, never learned to fly, that's a shame altough he needs his Max Power to beat Yajirobe )

6. Yajirobe ( surprassed Kami, probably got weaker since he quit training after the Sayajin saga and Muten Roshi surprassed him )

7. Tao Pai Pai ( dodonpa's expert )

8. Tsuru-sennin ( Roshi rival, altough I believe Tao is superior )

9. Grandpa Gohan ( Roshi's finest student )

10. Chichi

11. King chappa (winner of the TB untouched )

12. Bora

13. General blue ( he's dead but he beat Kuririn easily )

14. Nam

15. General black ( the black guy from RR )

Why exclude Mutaito?

1st - Oob (EoZ) - See EoZ, not saying he's Boo level but for me he should be above the rest of the humans.
2nd - Kuririn - He got ahead in Namek and never got caught.
3rd - Tenshinhan - No need to elaborate.
4th - Yamcha - No need to elaborate.
5th - Chiaotzu - A decent gap between him and Yamcha, since he's deemed weak for the Androids.
6th - Kame Sennin - I assume he got full control of his Muscle Form(FnF), which makes him stronger than Yajirobe.
7th - Yajirobe - A slacker, I doubt he trained a single day after Kami finished his teachings.
8th - Karin - He's human.
9th - Tsuru Sennin -
10th - Chi-Chi - Pretty strong.
11th - Tao Pai Pai - Human Tao was a beast.
12th - King Chapa - Decent effort
13th - Grandpa Gohan - He was pretty strong. Curious to see what he could do in his youth.
14th - Mummy - Stronger than anybody at the 21st TB.
15th - Assistant Black - Pretty sure there's a line that say he's the strongest human in the RRA.

Edit: Added Tsuru Sennin

1. Krillin (strongest by statements and word from God himself)
2. Tenshinhan (was always a lot stronger than Yamcha)
3. Yamcha (despite his losing streak)
4. Yajirobe (was considered by Goku during the Android Saga over Chaozu)
5. Chaozu (meh)
6. Muten Roshi (thanks to Resurrection F)
7. Chi-Chi (master of a derivative of the Turtle Hermit style and skill level praised by Muten Roshi)
8. Master Mutaito (Muten Roshi's master)
9. King Chappa (powered up significantly to get revenge against Goku for embarrassing him in the prelims of the 22nd Budokai)
10. Crane Master (Tien believed he was the strongest person he knew till fighting Jackie Chun)
11. Grandpa Gohan (gave Goku a tougher time than Tao after he trained under Korin)
12. Tao Pai Pai (organic)
13. General Blue (wrecked Krillin in the RRA Saga)
14. Namu (gave Goku a good fight during the 21st Budokai)
15. Gyumao (the #2 pupil of Muten Roshi)
16. Bora (possibly stronger than Pamputto)
17. Pamputto (possibly the strongest human without ki)
18. Videl (moderately stronger than the strongest mainstream fighter)
19. Mr. Satan (The strongest mainstream fighter)
20. Farmer (is supposed to represent the average human)
21. Bulma (is an average human female who lives a privileged life)

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

Its hard to believe Yamcha in his prime was stronger than Goku at every point in the series until his spaceship landed on Namek.

That means anything impressive Goku did from the beginning to early Namek...Yamcha could do too.

Why do people put Tenshinhan above Kuririn ? We literally have an author statement of Kuririn being the strongest earthling.

1. Oob
2. Kuririn
3. Tenshinhan
4. Yamcha
5. Chaozu
6. Kame-sennin (by ROF Arc)
7. Yajirobe
8. Chi Chi

I forgot many things in the original DB.So i''ll reread Herms' strength checker before placing Chappa,Tao Pai Pai and the likes.

Because the feel we get from the manga is that Tenshinhan is more powerful. In the manga itself there is only one, not very clear, indirect line by yamcha implying that Krillin is superior, while everything else makes it feel like Tenshinhan is superior.

If Toriyama says he is stronger, then he is, but that's really not the feeling we get from the manga.

Assuming we're talking entirely human and not an android:

0. It's not entire fair to count him, due to the whole deal, but, Uub.
1. Tien. He's been trained by King Kai and Kami, and has held is own against powerful enemies and continues to train to this day.
2. Krillin. A similar deal, trained by Kami and had his potential unlocked, has fought plenty of strong opponents, but also has slacked off and/or given up due to family life.
3. Yamcha. Trained by Kami and King Kai, blah blah, but gives up training earlier than the others.
4. Chiaotzu. As with above, but powerful telepathic/kinetic abilities can be used well against humans. Still semi-trains with Tien.
5. Yajirobe. Strong as Goku on arrival, Vegeta's tail, but very lazy. This still makes him very powerful.
6. Master Roshi. Age old, knows many fighting techinques gathered over his hundreds of years of life. Fought Frieza soldiers pretty well.
7. Tao Pai Pai (He was still power pre-cyborgification. Which might I add, is not a word.). Famous for his assassination skills, very powerful, but is defeated by both Goku and Tien
8. Crane Hermit. A master of the same style as Tao.
9. Videl. Able to train with an older Gohan, and participates in a lot of vigilante justice. A powerful fighter who was able to support the Z Fighters better than many other humans. Plus flight.
10. Grandpa Gohan. Trained under Roshi, gave Kid Goku a challenge during Fortuneteller Baba.
11. Chi-Chi. Powerful in her own right, but Chi Chi also trained with Goten until he went SSJ
12. Bandages the Mummy. Was a serious threat to the Dragon Ball teams victory. Very powerful, defeats Yamcha.
13. Sky Dragon. Gives Goku a decent fight. Is in the tournament semi-finals in Bojack, albeit much older.
14. Bora. The chief of the Karinga Tribe, a very powerful man blah blah
15. General Blue. Hypnosis, serious strength blah blah.
16. Nam. Fought against Goku, did well, blah blah, consistent Tournament competitor, but is beaten by Tambourine and isn't seen very much after.
17. Doskoi. Beats an aged Sky Dragon in the Bojack tournament. This should imply that he's at least pretty powerful.
18. General White. Very Russian.
19. Mr. Satan. Won the Budokai fairly at least once, this has to count for something.
20. Ninja Murasaki. Not so much powerful as he is skillful, against regular humans, he'd pose a threat. Though he isn't smart, he and his brothers are decent fighters by human standards
21. King Chappa. Another world tournament winner. He is eliminated in the prelims in the second tournament though so his skills must have faded, possibly due to having like, four kids.
22. Ox King. We don't see Ox King do a lot of fighting, but he did train with Grandpa Gohan and Roshi. He managed to claim Fire Mountain as his own, however, he is never shown doing much.

I would have included Spopovich and Yamu pretty high on this list but I don't think they qualify with Majin Magic. Otherwise I'd place them around Chiaotzu level.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

There's no concrete proof to who's stronger post-Freeza Saga as they're both featless but Tien's work ethic and confidence makes him seem stronger.

I guess as usual, we're not counting folks like Oob or the Android twins who have unnatural sources of power.

#1: Kuririn. He's been the number-one native since Chapter 439 in 1993, when Yamcha assured Marron that her daddy was the strongest in the world, at least among Earthlings. Every single official source to offer an opinion on the matter (the guidebooks, promos for the new movies, new games, even Toriyama himself) has just repeated the sentiment. Explain it however you wish, but Kuririn's the strongest Earthling. It's just how it is.

#2: Tenshinhan. By popular demand, Ten is the second-mightiest ant among the dinosaurs. He's a training addict, but apparently he's never been able to catch up to Kuririn in raw power.

#3 & #4: Yamcha and Chaozu. We're never really given an indication of how strong these two became. It's just kind of a given that they both lag behind Kuririn and Tenshinhan. Per the status quo Chaozu was probably still the weakest after all the training on Kaio's planet, but in the years after that, it may have changed. Who knows?

#5: Movie Muten Roshi. The old timer demonstrated in Resurrection F that he's no slouch. If he's able to not only fight but actually spank so many Freeza soldiers, I would guess he's been training steadily over the decades and has gained some considerable power. Still not anywhere near the younger guys, but a PL of a few thousand, I'd say.

Beyond that, we get into a messy jumble of pre-Raditz folks, so... I guess a Top 5 will do.

I plan to do a list based on all your opinions combined, (i'll count UUB as a special case, so special mention).

I'll do it point system based:

#1 gets 30 pts , then 27 , 24 , 20 , 17 , 15 , 13, 11 , 9 , 8 , 7 , 6 , 5 , 4 , 3 till #15 & base the ranking on this.

Uub
Tien
Krillin
Yamcha

Reason i put tien above krillin is because he looks more impressive, plus in the DB budokais he was always superior to krillin and he held off semi perfect cell.Plus in super seems tien kept up with his training, while krillin did not,so i doubt krillin is stronger.

Yajirobe
Tao pai pai
Master roshi
King Chappa
General Blue
Bora
Pamput
Commander Black(or w/e his name is)

And thats all i can remember.
