How to Play: Burst Limit - Cancel Style Tutorial

Post by TheSaiyanjin2 » Mon Mar 07, 2016 12:30 am

Hi everyone! I just made a tutorial for Burst Limit! Everything is explained: basic controls, cancel, kicancel, heavy smash, revert backdash, and more.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xSLqSKgYVs

PS: I speak in french but subtitles are rather precise I think... Hope that helps. :)
The implication is that we should be patient with learning, and with learners. It takes time to learn to do things. What seems easy to us now may have been difficult at first.

Great video, turns out Burst Limit had a lot more depth than I (along many other people) thought, let's just hope next Dragon Ball game goes back to 2.5D!

Yeah, I agree. Budokai 3, Super DBZ, Shin Budokai, and Infinite World... all solid fighters that make great use of the Dragon Ball license.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Thank you guys, it's obvious that BL has some defects in terms of versus fighting but it has a great combo system. We do need B4 or BL2 to revive the golden age of DB games that lasted from 2002/2008, Dimps deserve another shot to make a game like that, not a trash in fully-3D.

Hey man, if you haven't yet, you can check out my thread on BL2/Budokai 4 ideas and wishlist if you want:

Some suggestion or feedback from an expert Budokai player like you would be surely great.

Thirded. I just think Dragon Ball beat em ups feel much more refined when they're 2.5D. I think Dimps nailed it with Burst Limit. The game desperately needs a sequel.
